Snowball, as others have pointed out, technology changes all the time so at any given point the athlete will have a bit of an advantage. There's no way to parse all the differences to compare an athlete of five, ten or twenty years ago with today. So records stand and they're broken.

Even rules change. Nothing scammy about it.

Rules change in sports all the time. Even in the Olympics

Events use to have just amateurs. Now, during the winter games, it looks like a NHL All Star game.

Gymnastics team sizes will be reduced from five to four starting at the Tokyo games.
There were seven gymnasts per team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, six for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and only five for the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics.

This year, in Boxing, the minimum age was raised to 19, and professional boxers were allowed.

My Anshultz, doesn't look anything like the rifles they used in 1924.

Technology changes
The games go on

Did you happen to notice in your rage over the the design change that the kick plates can be configured to detect false starts? Yeah, I didn't think so. This is especially important in relays, by the way, and is a very, very good thing. It won't be long before you start seeing the Omega blocks in high school competitive swimming, just like the touch pads used to calculate finish placement. Better than relying on judges. I applaud the change.

"post something proving that the records are not legit,"

NO, you post something you THINK.

By way of your thinking, 3 point shots is basketball are NOT LEGIT!
