Someone else asked if there should be a looting and destruction tax on the black community.

We already have punitive geographic taxes on neighborhood dysfunction. These taxes are disproportionately paid by lower-income residents in the form of inflated insurance premiums. Auto insurance rates vary by zip code, so people who cannot afford to live in the 'right' zip code pay this tax in their insurance bill.

This tax is even a feature included in Obamacare, where health insurance premiums vary by zip code.

And in Texas, poor people are often forced out of neighborhoods on the rise due to property taxes forcing gentrification.

Poor people are generally renters and renters rarely buy property insurance or rental insurance.

I own nothing worth more than $50, why should I pay inflated insurance premiums on that?

But they do buy auto insurance and health insurance.

Ynless you own a home you don't pay home owners insurance. You ca decide for yourself to pay renters insurance. Health insurance doesn't change based on crime stats for the zip code you live in and auto insurance has very small variances based on zip code as well.

If you own a vehicle you must have auto insurance. If you're alive you must have health insurance.

If not, they'll fine and/or cage you.

I'm 55 years old and now have maternity care. My kids are grown why should I pay for kids dental care in my "inflated" health insurance policy. Oh that's right, I'm paying for people in your neighborhood.

I know someone who is a dentist and owns his own business and Obamacare makes him buy dental insurance even though he can do all his own work on his kids.

Hey, I didn't write (or vote for) Obamacare.

Since you pay a ZIP-specific premium, how are you paying for people in my neighborhood?
