ellen is a big time hollywood liberal, but from what i have seen she does treat everyone with respect, and i believe she meant the picture to be all in good fun.
I saw all kind of posts by blacks coming to her defense.
people need thicker skin, or meds. Probably both but mostly the latter.
It's not black people, it's young people in colleges in the gender studies or African American studies or whatever other studies there are. They're teaching our kids to be perpetually offended.
Wow. Who are these humorless sourpusses that cannot see the joke in that?
And why do we give them so much power by responding to them? Ignore them - they might go away.
I'm still waiting for someone with the balls to tell them they're being ridiculous. Maybe Sarah Silverman can go on a college tour, but from what I understand, most comedians refuse to go to colleges anymore.

d you blame them? they make their living poking fun at just about everything, carlin was great at doing it, but these days if one of the little snowflakes that populate the hallowed halls of higher education ever get offended, the comic is the one that usually pays the price.

No, I don't blame them. I blame the professors and college administrators who coddle these kids and bow to their every demand.
It used to be that adults would correct children's behavior. And I would think there would be college professors that would tell them that a campus is a place to have your ideas challenged, not a place to only hear from voices they agree with. The last college president that tried to do this got in trouble, and I think he may have even resigned over it. It was over the big kerfuffle over Milo Yiannopolos speaking at a school.
I'm betting extremely few complained. A handful of people complain and someone needs to make it out to some big thing.
Yahoo so called News. Its millennial writers think three people tweeting the same thing is a story.
