I wonder if we should be expecting the BLM and riots to happen here ?

So far, I think the number of innocent children being shot (caught in crossfire) is up to 7 this year in Detroit. And that isn't counting the ones that shot themselves playing with unsecured guns. Do these lives matter ?

Violence takes rising toll on Detroit kids

The latest.
Police: Boy, 7, shot in Detroit in domestic dispute

It amazes me the cowardice these thugs have, they can't even have an argument without shooting someone. What is going on in the inner cities ? We have a pastor and some of his parishioners getting death threats for tackling and restraining (until the police got there) a thug that attempted an armed robbery , and shot at a group of people for breaking some asinine "street code" SMH...

Another dead child. It just goes to show that these idiots don't care about one another.
They don't care about some idiot that pulled a gun on a cop and got shot as a result. What would anyone with half a brain expect? the cop to allow himself to be shot?
The hoods will use any excuse to riot, loot and destroy.
A kid gets shot and no one cares.
A thug "livin the gangsta life" pays the price for being stupid and riots ensue.

The Police are seen as the enemy yet they are demanded to come in and clean up the messes these idiots make.

There are 2 ways to stop this nonsense.
#1 have the Police and National Guard go door to door rounding up illegal guns and arresting any one who has one and actually send them to prison.

#2 wall off the entire neighborhood and let them fight it out like that old movie with Kurt Russel "Escape from New York"

Another thought:
The gun grabbers love this kind of stuff because it adds to their list of gun violence stats. I'm sure Hillary will hold up such a list when she goes to ban guns.
Legal gun owners are law abiding responsible people.
Illegal gun owners are punks who give everyone a bad name.

The problem is liberal gun grabbers don't see the difference between legal and illegal guns.
How many more kids have to needlessly die before something is done to get these illegal guns off the streets?

If you want to make an omelet you have to break a few eggs. BLM, the Revolutionary Communist Party know people must be sacrificed for the revolution. They are willing for the price to be paid, if not by them, perhaps.

They don't care how many die unless a cop shoots them.

How many more kids have to die needlessly before we dispense with this fiction that all legal gun owners are responsible with their guns?

"Federal data from the Centers for Disease Control indicate that between 2007 and 2011, an average of 62 children age 14 and under were accidentally shot and killed each year. But our analysis of publicly reported gun deaths shows that the federal data substantially undercount these deaths."

All your faux concern and whining in regard to BLM over the tragic deaths of children in Detroit is childish and immature.

BLM is not protesting anything in Detroit. I don't live that far from the city and have relatives that live there. It stated that 3 of the children who were shot, they were self inflicted gunshots, meaning they found a gun in their home that some stupid adult left for a child to get and they killed themselves.

The others all have had people arrested/charged with crimes and I'm sure they will all be sentenced to lengthy prison terms for killing children.

There was a child killed by police in Detroit at well in 2010 and due to the re-trial being rather recent, I was thinking this thread may be a jab about that incident. The officer who shot and killed the child was not sentenced to any prison time.

You should be more outraged about that than of the tragic deaths that will actually have justice served.

11 teens a day die from texting and driving.
Where's our ban on that totally unnecessary, far more publicly dangerous activity?

Your comment is quite laughable and my point has completely gone over your head. You are correct though, 3 of the 8 were due to the negligence of the parents not having secured their firearms. My mistake, the number of children caught up in the crossfire is 6. And I never stated that BLM was protesting here, my question was why aren't they ?

I guess I don't understand and probably never will why riots are started , protests happen over the death of a criminal doing thug things (pointing a gun and a LEO) but the streets are silent over the deaths of children and any other innocent person caught up in the crossfire of this thug life. Our media is silent, our politicians are silent as well as BLM. For us laymen , it does not make sense. If black lives matter (actually all lives matter) why aren't they protesting for things that happen on a daily basis ? Please explain this to me ?

As far as the tragic death of the little girl...again , that was thugs doing thug things. The grandma knew her daughter was harboring a fugitive wanted for murder. And the grandma fought with the officer causing the negligent discharge. The daughter (mother of the little girl ) and the grandma are the ones to blame for the little girls death. They should have turned in the murdering thug that they were hiding. Geoffrey Figer, a huge proponent for cases like these walked away from it. And what , 3 miss trials now ? This wasn't the cops fault.
