The fact is no one would have read this article without the good Samaritin angle and the OP would not have posted it had the perpetrator's been white.

Sorry, the watering down of words such as hero, good Samaritan, courage, racist, etc. is a pet peeve of mine.
oh, so he said, "Where's the $20.00 that you promised if I'd help you out?" That excuses him being shot.

oy vey?

Did I ever say that?

Once again, he was no good Samaritin.

The title should have read "Capitalist killed by two scumbags". Now you have an honest sensationalist heading.

This is why I always do a quick look assessment of vehicle occupants before stopping to help.

by what screwy definition of 'good samaritin' was the victim not a good samaritin? because he didn't pull them out the ditch for free and give them money afterward?

US homicide rates were substantially higher in the 60's- early 90's.

Back then news was not a for profit business model, there was no internet or social media.

That we are now more aware of homicides does not mean there are more homicides.

Hey, if I'm stuck in a ditch and someone helps me get out, I'm giving $20 if asked or not. The guy didn't even have to stop. If he hadn't he would still be alive.

And these kids are the types we are supposed to work and give our tax dollar to government to put food on their tables?
