Everyone who wants to sell something targets everyone who has money to spend. That's how the economy works. It's up to the buyer to decide if he or she is better off spending or saving. Black people, more than others, tend toward spending. This probably has to do with lower average IQs, less impulse control and lack of future orientation, most of which is likely related to genetic tendencies, so it's almost as pointless to blame blacks for this situation as to blame whites or capitalists. It is what it is.
You failed to mention whitewashing. You always throw in low IQ when it comes to Black people. That's a tired excuse if I've ever heard one.

Not saying that success and the American dream can not be fulfilled by the black populace - but it is rare....Most blacks are isolated...in poverty...and millions in jail supporting a privatized penal system.
I agree with most of this, except the "crime" in rap music. Artists such as BDP, X-Clan, Public Enemy, etc. were for the uplifting of Black people, until Corporate (white) America stuck their hands in the cookie jar of the music industry and threw in these Stepin Fetchit caricatures of rappers talking about pushing kilos, money, cars, jewels, and all this bogus crap.

Educated, successful Black people who are proud of their Blackness are a threat to racist whites. Even Rosewood, FL suffered the same fate. They are enraged if Black people build up their communities.

The Western Jews despised the Eastern Jews who arrived in the US poor and became the boxers, gangsters, and bootleggers. The Eastern Jews were mainly Orthodox and not into science and rational thought like the Christians and Reformed Jews. So, that irked the Western Jews too.
Eventually even Eastern Jews gain wealth in the USA. This is true.
Jim Crow era alone is enough to argue Black-Americans were institutionally discriminated against. One not need bring up slavery.
Whites received government sponsored deals on real estate, in the form of land though, going back to the early days of the United States when the government offered rock bottom price deals on Amerindian lands to be taken and held to any whites from Europe or on the East Coast willing to go out a Westward and with rifles, shovels, and hoes in hands stake out territory from Amerindians.
The US Government also invested in a national highway system, hospital systems, after seeing how far ahead the Germans were of America infrastructurally when US troops went into Germany during WWII. So, it is not true the US Government never until recently used tax dollars for the public.
It is amazing how much wealth can be passed down by whites to their children.
That's funny because for the longest time white America thoroughly detested and hated Asians. White America is the one that enacted the Chinese exclusion act, barred Asians from owning and maintaining businesses besides basically laundry and restaurants, and white America is the one that banned Asians from even immigrating LEGALLY to the US allllll the way until the 1965.
Now that Asians are successful, white people love to try to use them as political pawns in order to pit minorities against each other by playing up the 'model minority' crap. Please. How many Asians do you see in the movies, on TV, or in charge of fortune 500 companies, in Congress or the Presidency? We get it, they just want Asians to do what they've always been doing--go to school, get good grades, get good jobs and just shut up. That's not obtaining real power, however. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence can see through the thinly veiled arguments of 'well Asians can do it!'. That does not wash away America's atrocious history of its treatment of African Americans, a legacy that is huge part of all of the problems that AA face today.
You are absolutely correct. When Asians begin to gain power watch how this all changes.

You don't think I know there are successful blacks in this country. We have always had success even despite many white that were terrorizing those communities. That still does not mean there aren't any systematic issue that may affect poor and middle class blacks trying to find a way out.
