IIRC the Republicans hired a writer to change all of the Wikki articles on climate change to support the deniers. I assume the RW has done this for many of the other things they oppose. They have the money, opportunity and ability to rewrite the system to support their ideas. That is the essence of propaganda.
On Wikipedia and most of the rest of the web, reality is, indeed, a variable.
If you are relying on wikipedia you are, by definition, not a "research expert."
Yup. Even middle schools are now teaching students not to quote Wikipedia

Aw jeez, the hysteria. "This is the essence of propaganda".
Unless the article is locked any moron can post anything on Wikipedia. Penniless college students high on SJW hatred pour all sorts of demented silliness onto Wikipedia about Republicans.
Any Republican social media coordinator worth a damn isn't going to waste a penny of their candidates funds on Wikipedia, they're going straight to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
Anyone looking up serious political information in an election year on Wikipedia is an idiot.
so what is the good site for reference? It appears wikipedia has a lot of inaccuracy but for non-political topics it might be fairly accurate. I just looking for a exanple of bad univercities and learning institution in usa and searched ITT tech in wikipedia. Within minutes, its president to Donald trump and the worlds like "crime syndicate", "debt slaves". Few minutes later all those are gone and appear again.
For many other topics mostly engineering concept related stuff, it looks fairly informative.
Looked at britannica, which is maintained by few scholars and respected invidivuals but the depth and breadth of information in britannica was quite limited (for obvious reason) compared to wikipedia.
I love Sharyl Attkisson. Here's a good presentation she gave that also touches on Wikipedia..
I enjoyed that quite a bit. Thanks.
