Many people on this forum and in the USA will probably not know what it is to have a mosque next to their home or close to it like many have in Europe.
It is not like a Church is over here or a Temple.
Weird. I lived right next to this one in Germany for over 2 years:
Under those conditions we should lose our rights to be a country after destroying Iraq, Lybia, Syria............We have killed 1.3 million people since 9-11 and all but a handful had absolutely nothing to do with 9-11.
Wait 'till next time! We'll really put a dent in their numbers.
I've lived near a mosque and understand the sound issues. I've also lived next to a church and had church bells ringing daily. In both cases, they were noticeable/bothersome when I first moved in and then faded into the background and was easily ignored, kind of the like the incessant lawnmower noise I have now living in the suburbs and surrounded by retirees who seem to do nothing but mow their lawns over and over.
That said, if the noise is an issue for neighbors, then a noise ordinance should be taken up for the community. They could even do that preemptively before the mosque was built.
Really? You lived by a Mosque and a Church

Right. And look what happened to Germany! Seems you stepped on your own d;ck with that post!
It appears that in your mind, there's some sort of causation link between a mosque built in Hamburg in 1961 and the Syrian refugee crisis 60 years later. No sure how that happened.
Yes I did, in two different cities at two different times in my life. Why is that so unbelievable to you?
