Hardly, Liberal policies are 100% responsible for making fathers un-necessary and replaced by the government.

Yes single teenage minority women with children tend to perform well in life as do their children, best to close women's health clinics that provide education, health care and contraception and add to the scrolls.

I hate it o break this to you, but the inner cities where these problems are the greatest have been run by liberal democrats for decades. Their mayors, city councils, district attorney's and police chiefs are Democrats. Many times they are in states run by Democrats.

It's so ironic how liberals wage war on the poor and minorities while blaming conservatives. It's even crazier that the victims believe it.

Funding wasn't the issue. TX legislation shut down all but 4 clinics. From what I recall, the legislation was overturned recently.

No, they don't all have a DR.

The rest of the people live near a city or can take time off to go to another state.
"that the clinics couldn't meet."

Of COURSE they COULDN'T meet the standards.

THAT is why they SHOULD be shut down or be able to provide EMERGENCY care if anything during the abortion goes bad. AND IT DOES.

"The rest of the people live near a city or can take time off to go to another state.

Have you EVER been to Texas?

You just PROVED you HAVEN'T a clue to what you are talking about.

This probably one of the most IGNORANT statements ever posted in this forum.

For some reason right wing nuts think that making it harder to engage in proper family planning and harder for pregnant women to get healthcare constitutes a pro-life position.
" right wing nuts"

Sorry my mistake. I thought posters on here were adults and knew how to hold decent conversations.

Not a bunch of kids who can only resort to silly juvenile name calling.

Heaven forbid ANYBODY have different opinion then yours.

We are speaking to Texas specifically, maybe you should start a new thread.
There were 300,000 unintended pregnancies in Texas in 2010, who in their right mind would think it's a good idea to close these clinics. Poor women are affected more than any other demographic.

So was this a smart move?

Quote:
If current trends continue, more than half of all women in the United States will experience an unintended pregnancy by the time they reach age 45. And economically disadvantaged women are disproportionately affected by unintended pregnancy and its consequences: In 2011, the unintended pregnancy rate among women with incomes lower than the federal poverty level, at 112 per 1,000, was more than five times as high as the rate among women with incomes greater than 200% of poverty (20 per 1,000).

I wouldn't complain too much.

You could have lived in Illinois with all these DEMS.

" Six Illinois governors have been charged with crimes during or after their governorships

Otto Kerner, Jr. (D) received three years in prison and a $50,000 fine.

Daniel Walker (D) sentenced to seven years in prison.

Rod Blagojevich (D), sentenced to 14 years in prison."

Be careful what you wish for!

Oh wait, looky here, Whoda' thunk BOTH DEMS

I think you are bit biased!

"2010–2015
  • Texas
  • State Representative Ron Reynolds (D) was convicted of barratry and was sentenced to one year in jail. (2015)[165]
  • State Representative Naomi Gonzalez (D) convicted of drunken driving, sentenced to 15 days in jail. (2014)[1
