So, the guy says we need to have a better handle on black unemployment is higher.

Explain the foolish part.

Please.

"Idiots?"

Yes, please explain...

“There is a really troubling statistic in the U.S. economy where black unemployment is almost always twice white unemployment,” Kashkari said in a conversation at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation charity in St. Paul.

“If it is a booming economy, and white unemployment is 4[%], then black unemployment is 8[%]. If it is a recession and white unemployment is 8, black unemployment is 16,” Kashkari said.

“What’s shocking to me is we, as a country, still don’t know why that is. We have to know why that is if we hope to solve it,” he said.

I suspect anyone who thinks this Fed is foolish to point this out is one who thinks they know the answer as to why. I too am curious why no explanation as to the "foolishness."

This was linked in the comments.

High School Graduation Rates by Race

Nationwide, black students graduated at a rate of 69 percent; Hispanics graduated at 73 percent; whites graduated at a rate of 86 percent.

The extremes...
Nevada - 48% of blacks graduated high school.
Texas - 84% of blacks graduated high school.

I wonder what the numbers are for college? We are not helping ourselves.

No, no they're not. Please don't say stuff like that. Don't grant a depraved organization like this any more power, primacy, or purview than it already has, even in your mind or on a message board.

I'm going to prognosticate about the "findings" as far as what the Cause of the disparity won't be...
Spoiler
(it won't be the people themselves)
...and what the Antidote prescribed to address the disparity will be...
Spoiler
(it will be more government / more rules)
