I am. I'm very nice. Incredibly nice. The nicest guy in the world. I also have a great sense of humour. Even now I'm still chuckling at my last post

As a freedom-loving person, I used to think Canada was a joke.
But in some ways, they have caught up, if not surpassed us in some measures of economic freedom.
Their personal tax are rates slightly better than ours (Americans).
The Heritage foundation ranks them #6 in Economic Freedom, The US is #11. This has been going on for YEARS now. Other rankings produce similar results.
That is NOT your daddy's Canada anymore.
I go up there a lot. The quality of life is better. And the people are nicer.

You really need to replace the words "we" and "us" with "I' and "me"......I am Canadian and I resent the fact that you are trying to paint all Canadians with your broad brush...It's insulting.

Ditto, sanspeur.

Anyway. I wish there was some way I could own a gun. A non-restricted one, that, technically, right here in commie Canada, where my rights are stripped to the bone, where gun ownership is a no-no, I could somehow keep in the trunk of my car, perfectly legally.

Oh wait!

Odd that our op decided to post this letter to Canada in the American politics section. i'm sure it would
generate much more opinion from Canadians if it were posted in the Canada section.
I suspect this topic was posted in the American section solely for the purpose of generating a feeding frenzy of hate towards Canada as i'm noticing an unmistakable trend by many that is synonymous with an addiction to the emotion of hate in this case instead of the usual targets of satiation Canada is the target.
