I believe the point that a lot of people are missing here, is the fact that Kaepernick is MUSLIM, which means he cannot stand to salute the flag, it goes against their religion...so him claiming he is not standing b/c he believe in BLM, simply proves, that Muslim religion is trying to divide the country...in other words, he is deliberately lying for "the cause".
Wrong. Rapinoe isn't getting a much coverage because almost nobody in the US has any idea at all who she is. In the purview of sports personalities she's effectively an unknown.

In regards to the "race card" people made things about race in this country for centuries, but now people want to get mad and anxious when the so-called "race card" is brought up.
Maybe if you were dealing with people of the past, you would have a point. But now you're dealing with people of the present. People of the present don't have to modify their feelings or behaviors based on what people of the past did or thought.
You are not a person of the past, either, so stop hanging your hat on what they went through in order to get a free pass for lazy thought process and argument. Also, stop using "people of the past" and how they acted to determine how people of the present should respond to or feel about the tone and tenor of your arguments.
