It is my understanding that he was going to pay by taxing remittances. If that is true, it's nothing that Mexico would actually be involved. So why bring it up?

It was Mexican Labor that built all the houses in Arizona, Texas, California, Las Vegas and all the other places that had this massive building boom in the 80's 90's and early 2000's. It has been the same so called illegal labor that has prepared the meals that you have eaten when you go to your so called marquee eateries, and it was Mexican housekeepers who raised many of your kids, and the list goes on. Trump still hunts them down to be seasonal workers at this resorts, rather than to pay American's a living wage to do these jobs, at the rate he charges for services, he could pay American's a living wage and still make a reasonable profit, but he does not want a reasonable profit, he wants profit that is on par with what Slave Plantation Owners pursued.
The only time Mexicans became an issue of concern was after the "Elite White Business Owners and Executives, Outsourced Jobs to Asian Countries. First off it's not only whites that have hired illegal aliens.
