Yes, space wise but do you want us to be as poor as Indian or China?
First, population density does not make you "poor." Some of the world's wealthiest countries (Monaco, Singapore, South Korea, etc.) are the most densely populated, and some of the world's poorest countries (Mongolia, Namibia) are the least densely populated.
Second, we are at no risk of becoming like India or China in terms of population density.
If you're a skilled, educated adult it is almost impossible to legally work in the U.S., much less become a citizen.
Our immigration system is set up for two types of people, mainly : (A) Illegal immigrants who are willing to live outside the legal system, and (B) Wealthy Chinese and Arabs who are willing to jump through the hoops of our investor visa process.
Out of 240 countries on earth, we are 179th in population density. Factually speaking we definitely do not have "too many people."
And the majority of us like it that way.
We need to raise the bar on what is acceptable for immigration. As it stands over half of legal immigrants are on some sort of government assistance.
Immigrants shouldn't even be eligible.
Most countries have financial requirements that applicants must satisfy. Requirements that prevent immigrants from becoming a burden upon the country. This isn't cruel or unfair. It is common sense.

There is a lot more involved here than just population density.
Then illegal aliens NEED to stay "illegal": NO amnesty for their kind. Period. Too; allow the cops and judges to arrest any known illegal on the spot. When word gets out the US ain't playing; MOST illegals WILL leave ASAP. Period.
You also have to make it impossible for someone that is NOT here legally to get a job and public benefits. Period.
Other countries do that, including Canada. It's easy to move to certain countries. It's difficult to impossible to get a job.

If the illegals were bringing in millions of dollars investment each person, I don't think anybody would mind.
We need immediate implementation of E-verify. Like yesterday.
I agree with that. If you're here illegally, you should not work. I've said this before. It's about MONEY. People will do what their wallets tell them. Alot of people think with their wallet and their underparts. Use E-Verify. Many companies already use E-Verify. Lock up business owners who have been discovered to hire illegals. Fine them some much money that it costs more to hire an illegal than to hire someone who is here legally American wages. Enforce laws we already have.
So why exactly do you have a problem with someone who is 20 or 30 years old, living in Britain, France or Germany, moving to the United States for work?
So what, you're suggesting that they are skilled, educated, and also working illegally? What kind of work are you talking about , here?
Not sure, I can ask. They are visa holders here working legally.
I am a programmer. The ones that didn't show were staff on a contracted clean up crew and warehouse.
