The money grabbers who want not the people to be paid for their labor, such as Ashley closing plants, is again the system of greed, destroying the lives of the hard working people, who readily give a days labor with want to be respected with an honest days pay. The greed mongers, choose to have none of such to exist.
The money worshiper are out in force, No matter what logic is put forth about the respect of the human being, the right winger, pursuing their God to be Money, will continually fight against and push their refute of anything that supports and respects the humanity of the human being.
This sadly, is nothing new. That evil has persisted for many generations and the vile of these types continues to push and promote havoc, as their sense of Avarice is the basis of the Greed mentality that drives them. Their haughtiness in the utterances shows clearly the self consumption of their ways.
One can't reach them with truth, when they rush to the speaker with the megaphone of evils inhumanity toward others.
The hardships that are visited upon many many of the American people as well as that of hardships spread around the world, can find much origins within these mentalities that dominate the Right Winger Ideology.
The true fight of good and evil is the battles of the day. divisiveness promotion, sad songs that become the utterances of disdain for everything in America, has been and continues to be the Right Wingers aims and claims. Lest they can covet all for themselves at the expense of any and all if they can.
One need only listen to the continual drama making contentions of Republican Promoted Spins, pushed into the media's furnace every day, trying to stroke the hell fires in within society, all in aim to heat up and burn anything that it cannot corral and contain for itself.
It's more clear today than looking through the smoke screens of yesteryear's of before, of why this nation has turmoil. No more in this day and age are the people to remain silent and allow the bigots and racist, the dividers and the hate mongers to continue to bring havoc into the American Spaces. People are now aware to the madness and they have become alert to the game as they see the gamer, pushing and prodding with a vain hope to turn this nation to resemble its own past.
This web thread has so much content that identifies those of the Right Winger mentality still, caught up and chasing the likes of an Antebellum ideal, which is about the gratification of self, at the suffering of any and many, for the sake of the sloth filled lusting of a few. It's an atrocity played out in the political arena.
Evil runs from point to point in a fast pace and a push a loud voice; while the voice of reason and the spirit of good-will is measured in its movements and solid in its speaking, it need not go into a frantic cycle, of jumping from town to town, jetting across the nations from coast to coast, desperate to spread the vile and push the anguish, hoping to confound the people to become lost in the madness; while it pushes hell's desires to sweep a nation with bias, bigotry, vile, condemnations and contempt at every point and place.
It is wise to listen closely to the voice of reason, the voice void of the belligerence and void of the divisiveness and the voice that is not fanning the flames of hatred and not attracting the groups that are based in hate and divisiveness. This is the voice that support the premise of equality and the basis of Democracy, This is the voice that has the heart and soul of American as the value point it supports.
Look at the madness of brands, we even see that pushed in not only the name of a Candidate, but in the self patronizing obsessions, while at the same time, continually seeking to get top dollar for their products but want not to pay for the labor to produce them. Ashley is running from paying the people a living wage, while its executives live in luxury and want more pay even beyond the kings ransom they hoard for themselves. Is that not like the madness of Trump, selling his brand and wanting top dollar, while he chase around the world looking for slave wage labor to produce them. Yet, talks about bringing jobs to American, when he already said, American's earn too much already. Yet, his own greed is insatiable, which makes him one who advocates for Avarice to be the basis of the American Mentality.
People need only be aware... look at this thread and look at the fight against the humanity of social and economic respect for the workers, the people in general, the aged and the children. Then one can know the ways evil thinks and how it moves. Thus is will be those who are of the God Spirit who shall prevail, over those who lust for and worship Money as their God.

Don't be dense. You want government to mandate a higher minimum wage and benefits. That will decrease the number of jobs and encourage employers to reduce their staff and work employees harder, or employ illegal workers.
I want the government to do its duty to protect all workers from mass immigration and foreign workers and stop being fleeced on trade deals. Then let the free US domestic market to determine what wages will be.
There is no such thing as a Free Market, when it is not Responsible, one can't have free anything without the basis of responsibility. Therefore; don't speak of free market when its spoken in such words as its spoken, which is vain and seek to gain at the demise and expense of others, be it in this country or abroad.
We should be thankful that we have a government whom is driven by the basis of fairness and equality and willing to push its stand and legislate to make fairness and equality the crown in which it wears.
We must accept that the Confederacy lost many decades ago, and the push for its reemergence is an evil that seeks to spread itself with twisted logic and loud mouth madness.
America has seen too much slavery, too much indenture and too much of malice of share cropper madness. It is time for the American people to support the premise of the government that makes this nation what it is, and that is a construct to respect all people with fairness and equality.
Those who fight it, as did the Confederates, who lusted for the Antebellum ideal of the wealthy bleeding the poor while they living with the haughtiness and sloth of greed pursuits.
It's time as a nation to be what Democracy means, and in its foremost meaning it is about "Equality", "Fairness" and Good Will Among Mankind.

Give it a break all ready. I am one to respect others and their differences of opinions but draw the line when they keep trying to cram something down my throat.
Ashley is closing the plant in CA but moving to Miss so the jobs are staying in the US. They just don't have to put up with Cali's crazy loons. Ashley already closed 5 stores in 2010 due to the economy. They are a business and trying to survive just like every other business and between the regulations and $15 pay - can't do so in California. Now if they were moving to Mexico or overseas - I'd be upset - but they're not.

They're getting paid exactly what their labor, skills set, etc., is worth. I don't see the problem with that. Want to be paid more? Acquire more skills, ask for and train for more responsibility, continuously work to improve oneself. Getting a higher paying job elsewhere is also an option, if one's skills set is worth higher pay.

So... why are poor people buying them? Expensive iPhones, Air Jordans, designer handbags, designer clothing, etc., etc... That's a very bad decision to make when one is poor, don't you think?
A much better way to try to change whatever income/wealth inequality is being constantly complained about is to attempt to starve very profitable businesses out of existence by NOT buying their products, no? Make them pay their employees more if they want to continue to sell an adequate number of consumer goods/services. Simple logic.
And liberals are egregiously bad at that given their preponderance to prefer Apple products, for example. Apple uses low-paid workers in Asia to increase profits.
I was making $5.50 per hour over thirty years ago in a mattress factory in Kansas City. It was pretty good money for a summer job for a college student. There were guys in the factory making $7.00 and some doing piece rate work making around $12.00. $15.00 per hour isn't a lot of money today for that kind of work. Its more than just the money the slow down in new housing might be a bigger factor.

lol, CA doesnt have $15 minimum wage. It has a lousy $10 minimum wage. And yes, they WILL move to Bangladesh sooner rather than later, workers will be thrown out on the streets, crime will rise and the donor class and their puppets will rejoice. The race to the bottom which right wing extremists support does not stop at the border.

What are you talking about. have you factored that the bulk % if not all of the cell phones are made in foreign lands. The same with Computers, Tablets, Home Appliances as well as Furnishing and Building Materials. That was the issue and concern as it relates to the greed of America in it's search for slave wage labor on foreign soil, this was also a means to ensure that minorities and women would not earn a living wage in America on par with the historical system of white males and white male union workers prior to the advent of Civil Rights which was thus followed with "Outsourcing".
As for Apple, they could make good profit by building this phone in America, for the sales price they charge for the phone, but they are driven by "greed" and push the delusion upon American people to believe it is not costly to produce it here. No its not, when you are trying to gain 300-3000% profit margins. But America was built to be a great country and renown the world over when it retained its industry and profit margins of 30-40 even 50 and 60% were the norm and standard.
But nope, the Antebellum System was trained into the heads of the Ivy League Graduates and the Top Tier Universities and Colleges to pursue, the profit gains of 300-3000% to match with the %'s gained during the days of Slavery and Indentures, and they were taught to achieve this is to seek slaves on foreign soil, especially in nations who had governments that contained and controlled and allowed their citizen population to be seen and pursued as the 21st Century Slave Labor Pools.
For what it cost Apple to produce this phone in China and what it sells for, Apple sells the phone as if they paid American's $40-60 an hour to produce it, when the fact is, it could pay American's an average wage of $15-25 to produce it and still make a hefty profit. Likely, Apple pays Chinese workers pennies and then shuttle them into some archaic concentration camp like environment as if its some type of Hitler styled design program.
This system styling is pervasive in China from the likes and similarities of Corporate Camps with domitory like quarters, to every kind of containment driven industrial structure one can imagine. They used the same OJT method to provide their workers the skills to assemble these units, but tell American's they need higher skills, because Apple and others WILL NOT provide OJT in America. They use the old game of PRETENDING American need to go pay a University $10's of thousands gains basic skills to learn how to assemble something, when fact and truth is, that same OJT training they offer to Chinese, can achieve the exact same assembly skills in America, within the exact same two weeks period.
We know Right Winger are fine with this arrangements, because it gives them as close to the Antebellum Ideals they have always pursued to cling on to. They see American's as minions who should equally so work for less than it cost to maintain the basis housing and feeding of slaves. That is exactly what the base of current day minimum wage is. The people are paid like "indentured servants", who get no more than it cost to provide the very basic of shelter and food stuffs, but not nutritional food basics. Not enough for medial, and barely enough for transportation, but that comes with the sacrifice of home basics or the ability to basically maintain upkeep of the home environment.
For 100's of years, America's white male dominated system spent inordinate time and focus to designing this mad system based on human abuse and human mis-use (That is Historical Fact) and any time the discussion moves to eradicate these abuses and mis-uses the Right Wingers are out in force yelling, screaming and crying and whining about dismantling the government, screaming that people are paid too much, and who's job is not worthy of this or that and anything they can conjure up to promote disenfranchisement, while they want to pump up themselves and gloat as if they are driven by some obsession to create and promote economic class divisions. It's pure sick and pathetic.
When the truth of such is put to forefront, out comes the nut cases with their pursuit to try and defend the history of such vain greed. Time has continued to show, that the such vile does not sustain what it gains, that's why American has continual cycles of economic depressions, because "hoarding", "coveting", "deceit", "deception" and the self consumed vanity of sloth fills the ranks with obsessions about material status and pompous strutting, until age find them old decrepit and broken down from the anguishes of fighting to hoard even more. We see it everyday, and these old geezers try and pass that same mentality on from one generations to the next and they all meet the same fate. Over time, they've squander Centuries of resources and left behind a massive collection of natural destruction, blight and a devastated public environment.

Just one example: Apple. Who's most likely to prefer Apple products? Artists (of various sorts: writers, graphic designers, etc.), educators, the film industry, etc., etc... ALL overwhelmingly politically LEFT.
But then they buy products from a company that has deliberately shipped jobs overseas and then pays those foreign workers very small wages.
If the LEFT weren't such absolute hypocrites and actually put their money where their mouths are, they could actually begin to effect the decrease in income/wealth inequality they "claim" to want.
