which is the reason we should close our borders to those from nations with disproportionate jihadists per capita (Mideast, mainly).

1924-1965 US mostly closed borders. Bring it back.

We all need to be extra aware any day of the week but especially this Sunday.

9/11 really did change everything.
Like February 26, 1993, when someone, with a set court date for entering the country illegally, drove a truck bomb under the North Tower. Yes, be aware that our Government is so blogged down, with regulations, that it can't always protect us.

We don't need to live in fear. We as a country should just stop for a moment and remember as Israel does every year and then goes on with their lives:

Thank you. Yes.

I am, as I think you know, a WTC survivor. I will not live in fear. I fly and enjoy it, I go up in skyscrapers.

I was coming out of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel into Manhattan heading for WTC when the first one hit.

Israel is not p.c. in making sure its skies are safe.

The TSA was created because of 911 and fear. And they suck. I won't fly anymore because of them. And securing borders don't mean anything. US citizens have become terrorists.

They also could have done what Israel did decades ago....strengthen the cockpit doors. The hijackers may have killed some passengers but they wouldn't have been able to take over the planes. But I suppose the airline bean counters wanted to save a few bucks.

I was at my desk in the Pentagon on 9-11, 5th Floor, Tenth Corridor (other side of the building). I'm not currently in the area, or I would be visiting the memorial tomorrow.

Made it a little past the walkway and saw a big flash in the sky. Made a U-turn, headed back to the tunnel and back to Brooklyn.
