If society was a computer, trying to "fix" government would be like trying to "fix" a virus.

1) You have to elect a president or enough members that support it as part of their platform, before they're entrenched
2) It only takes a few court decisions or a vocal minority to light a fire
3) With a viable third party option, law can be judged more on its merit than as a partisan "win" or "loss"

What we really need is a full-reset. It would be very ugly at first, no doubt. Then get back to being a true Constitutional republic. We've been feeding the beast for about 100 years.

make it a felony to send money to politicians, no donations. no billboards either and no 'indirect' donations, make it like insider trading in the stock market.
