1) Congress won't vote themselves out of a job
2) Only a few states have tried to remedy this, California being one of them, vast majority have not
3) That definitely won't do any good

The only thing that needs fixing in government is to regain control of the bureaucracy from the clutches of corrupt CEOs

1) You have to elect a president or enough members that support it as part of their platform, before they're entrenched
2) It only takes a few court decisions or a vocal minority to light a fire
3) With a viable third party option, law can be judged more on its merit than as a partisan "win" or "loss"

What we really need is a full-reset. It would be very ugly at first, no doubt. Then get back to being a true Constitutional republic. We've been feeding the beast for about 100 years.

make it a felony to send money to politicians, no donations. no billboards either and no 'indirect' donations, make it like insider trading in the stock market.

as long as big companies can buy off these people, nothing is going to change.

Politicians can be bought off because they have so much power to sell. Strip them of their power.
