Obama has clearly not done enough to curve the problem. Obama and Clinton support TPP deal which would send more jobs overseas. No one except Trump wants to review Nafta.

Clinton does not have a clue except to follow the party line. At least Trump is talking about this issue. Many Countries like Ireland is suing Apple because they set up a office in Ireland, but it is clearly a front with minimum employees. The lawsuit is for million dollars.

Microchip imports labor from India and they come over like locust! The 1H1 programs must be reviewed to ensure American Jobs.

Dell should be sued or at least have a injunction order to cease this practice.

We Must Put America First!
My crystal ball says the H1 B visa process and recipients will be reviewed by the federal government and then the number of visas will be increased, no matter who wins in November.

As it relates to Dell, when companies merge the first order of business is to eliminate redundant functions and systems, which typically means a loss of jobs. That a combined company sheds jobs in some areas does not mean they are ceasing to hire in other areas. You are not going to turn a seasoned and competent Marketing person into a highly trained tech person.

Shoul the federal government impose a sur charge tax on every direct deposit, ATM usage and electronic banking transaction to offset the middle class jobs that were permanently eliminated.
Same thing. There is always something you can do to fix problems. Only a true pessimist says there is nothing you can do.

Don't even try it.

You guys love extolling the virtues of Asians. Now you'll get more of them. They're so great, and every other minority group sucks, let you guys tell it. You want them to have all the openings at every elite university. Right?

So Be happy. Don't whine now.

Oh, but this Dell thing will hurt WHITE people, won't it? Not so crazy about Asians now, are you?

Lol...you right wingers are so transparent.

For all those who want to shut down H1B, do you think the corporations will just happily hire/keep expensive American labor? No. They'll simply open offices where the labor is (think India.) Then the US will lose all of the benefit of the jobs. At least with H1B, the jobs stay in the US.

They're offshoring anyway. That's why you adjusted the trade deals with India and other countries. You're argument is don't do anything and let corporations do whatever they want. A better argument is let's tell corporations what kind of immigration and trade deals are acceptable. That's a long standing constitutional power.

Got news for you... the donor class is already forced to bribe the federal government via our egregiously highly progressive tax system.

[Economist Anatole] "Kaletsky argues that over-reliance on progressives taxes creates “a perverse incentive for governments to promote income inequality. If the solvency of the state and the ability to fund basic services for the poorest people in society depends on the rich getting even richer, it is tempting for even the most progressive politicians to support widening inequalities.â€
The liberal case for regressive taxation

So of course the federal government is going to make sure the rich get even richer, as they're way overly dependent on the rich for tax revenue. Duh.

My former employer did just that in 2008. (India)

Business analysts and some project managers were spared.

They cut their IT labor costs by about 75%.

Just generally commenting...

We have numerous issues.

1- the American worker is too expensive because of excessive regulations

2- this visa program makes it easy so companies can get foreign workers without relocating overseas

3- our education system, and parenting/ family structure is developing less and less qualifiable candidates to do high scale projects

Ask BigDGeek about that third point. I disagree with the first part because there are plenty of highly skilled people whose jobs have been taken by foreigners. BigDGeek will tell you that she's tired of answering questions from people who came from other countries because many of them don't know what they're doing.

That only works if one can prove Asian-Americans are not loosing their jobs too ...
