Yes, when you oppose the rights of any American to protest you undermine everything the "Red, White, and Blue stands for.
Not when they feel the need to play politics and protest while they are at work. Go ahead and protest all you like on the issues that motivate you, but do it on your own time.
Besides, this entire BLM movement is ignorant. People dying in the streets because of all the violence from criminals, not the police, and those killings and shootings go ignored.
I am against apparent racist or Islamics cult members pushing the false argument of so called numberous white cops causing death in the tens when blacks kill themselves and others in the many thousands.
Let's focus on the thousands primarily and the tens as needed as well.
If they are retarded, disabled in mind or body, of course the could sit, kneel, drool or whatever.
If they are pushing wedges between races to make trouble to the benefit of Islam, communism, anarchist or progressives then F them frankly, they deserve zero respect.
On another note, I keep seeing people saying there's no point in protesting, because nothings going to change. Yet, some of those same people are voting for a candidate who claims he's going to change things, with a bunch of empty platitudes and no solid plans.
Oh really? Like the protesting football players, you have to understand the problems, before you can legitimately make a case. Protesting a false narrative only plays into the hands of those who are creating that false narrative.
Kap believes that black people are being systematically targeted by racist police officers, who are murdering them in mass. The notion that this is "Systematic", and racist based is the false narrative being created in great measure by the media, who focuses only on incidents that support such a narrative. The reality is, while there surely are bad cops who do use excessive force, and do seem to get away with it routinely, such incidents make up a tiny fraction of the obscene levels of murders and other violent crimes occurring daily in these inner city war zones of gangs, drug dealing, prostitution, robberies, drive by shootings, and domestic violence. The number of crimes, and violent repeat offending criminals to which police officers must deal with on a daily basis is staggering, so it's guaranteed that there will be some examples where police do over-react, and sometimes grossly so. Yet, you don't hear about the vast majority of interactions where police come to the aid of innocent citizens trapped in these inner city combat zones, who are being systematically terrorised by their fellow criminal residents living next door. Furthermore, given the extreme level of violence occurring in these cities, the police have no choice but to act with greater caution, and stronger postures, assuming the worst case scenario in their interactions.
That said, and setting aside political correctness, the real question is why these predominantly black inner city areas have such exponentially high rates of crime and murder, compared to surrounding suburbs? Truth be told, you can even see these crime rates fluctuating dramatically from one side of a city to another side! To blame the police for their inappropriate conduct in responding to this explosive criminal disaster is totally missing the point. Address the cause of this, before condemning law enforcement's handling of it. Because police are simply "responding" ... they are not the source. Deal with the problem honestly, before condemning the response.
As for this media driven mantra about Trump having no real plan, nothing could be further from the truth. He's been pretty specific in plans ... from renegotiating these disastrous free trade deals to better serve American interests, rather than heavily favoring international interests at America's expense, to lowering tax rates, rather than increasing them, as ,Clinton promises to do, to making sure that our immigration laws are enforced, to appointing Supreme Court Justices who will respect the Constitution rather than subvert it, to opening dialogs of cooperation with foreign nations like Russia, rather than continuing to provoke conflict. He has embraced the age old method of protecting American businesses which includes import tariffs to prevent the flood of cheap foreign made goods that have caused so much harm to manufacturing and jobs .... the list goes on.
How much more specific do you want him to be, and would you even understand it if he showed you more? You don't even grasp the basics.
Boy you seem argumentative this morning.
Over the past 2 years, I have started standing up more for things that irritate the crap out of me. The extremely poor customer service I received about 2 years ago concerning an order I placed online is where it started. I searched and found the CEO's email and informed her of what happened. I even shared the email with others who were having the same issues. Guess what? She really didn't know what was going on with the call center or shipping. She kept wanting to give me free stuff...I just wanted change. She was told the best thing she could do was to use my email as a training tool for her company. The next year...HUGE difference.
That is all I'm asking for here with the NFL. For them to search out the law themselves and make the changes they need to make.
Personally I would not boo the POTUS no matter how much I don't like him. I can't do anything over people actions who booed him, but I can make my voice heard over the action of football players who represent the NFL.
I never demanded a "private entity to follow suit". Honestly, it's time that we start standing up for what is right and not let it roll off our backs. All I did on here was encourage others to let the NFL know how they felt too. Could I have blasted it all over social media. Yep. Sure could, but this way one shows respect and a chance to fix it before going to social media. Have I blasted companies on social media. Yep. Sure have especially when I tried to work with them.
Nah, I'm looking at it from the perspective of the NFL. I've never liked how strict the NFL's uniform policy is. I didn't just decide to not like it, just because I selectively decided to be upset about something.
But you didn't answer any of my questions or scenarios, which was expected and which is part of the reason why the NFL uniform code is the way it is.
Again, "standing up for what's right" is subjective. Kaep was well within his right to protest during the national anthem. You're thinking with emotion and not logic. No one cared about Bruce Miller, one of Kaep's ex teammates, even though he actually broke several laws.
The NFL has far greater concerns, such as player safety, to worry about, instead of worrying about players exercising their constitutional rights.

Oh, please. There's a difference between protesting and being disrespectful. These NFL clowns are being disrespectful, plain and simple.
How come CK didnt call a press conference to express his beliefs? Why did he kneel for 2 games before getting caught? Why? Because he doesnt care about what he's protesting against, it was all on the down low, all "shhhh", all secretive until fans noticed his childish antics. Its a sham! Like I said, if he REALLY wanted to bring attention to the issue, he would have called a press conference or something. Now the other tools that are joining him? They never cared before either, or they would have raised their voices in concern. Instead, they're all of a sudden saying "oh yeah, we stand with CK for injustice!" Its all a sham, they want their extra 15 minutes of fame, while getting paid TONS of money to throw a ball around. Yeah, so "oppressed".

And that's where you lost any credibility.

I'm not rehashing the rebuttal to this lazy argument again. I've already destroyed it in the past, so feel free to read through my posts for your answers to your irrelevant comparisons.

Yeah, I've done my research, which is why I wouldn't vote for him or Hillary with a gun to my head, but keep drinking that crutch-flavored kool-aid.

You don't get to decide who gets to protest, you don't get to decide how they protest and you don't get to decide when they protest, as long as it's lawful.
That's part of the whole, "Land of the Free" thing.

Actually, since you actually don't believe in constitutional freedoms for everyone or believe one should be required to stand at attention or else, maybe you should use that money to buy yourself a one-way ticket to North Korea.

IMO, its not about rights, its about respect and dignity. Watching these pigs refuse to stand up for a nation that has given them a dream life reeks of disrespect. Thats where I have a problem.
