And we've all known for years making it illegal hasn't stopped anything either.
This isnt about alcohol, this is about the marijuana trade, and a non complaint segment of society victimizing children and women BECAUSE of marijuana and it's draw to the dark side.

Please provide factual information that this isn't occurring?

You might find this article very helpful for you

http://www.poppot.org/2015/10/02/mar...tion-debunked/

As an interesting side note heavy users of marijuana are twice as likely to be domestic violence victims and a statistically significant amount will be abusers.
Those with a history of child abuse and neglect are 1.5 times more likely to use illicit drugs, especially marijuana, in middle adulthood

Isnt posting pictures of drug abusers rather childish?

Cosmo writes interest articles.. do you dispute the facts?

The other site is uber liberal and would put a piostive spin on pot if it could.. it cannot

There is little investigative journalism in the emerald triangle. It is a closed society the revolves around the counter culture and pot. It has been this way since the 60s. Instead of people like Windsong and Moon we are seeing more and more people with the names like Alexi or Sergio. These "new" pot growers arent here to fit in, be complaint, or follow the law. They are interested in get rich quick monies. They bring with them unique skill sets from other countries along with their mores and customs.

It appears even hippies get horny and rape and pillage when attached to drugs , in these cases, marijuana
It's been that way since the '60s because that POS Nixon had marijuana made a Schedule 1 substance, not because it's anywhere near as dangerous as other drugs like heroin that are Schedule 1 but because that vindictive little Dick Nixon wanted retaliation against the dope-smoking hippies that called him out for the scumbag he was.

Right after you provide factual information that cannabis is the root cause of this happening at all.

The fact is there is no justifying this behavior.. NONE.. zero .. zip.. nada,,,rape.. kidnapping.. false imprisonment all circling around drug behavior.. in this case marijuana

Who on here will justify that... really.. which one of you will support this behavior.. because I expect every person on here to be aghast at what is happening in the dirty tawdry criminal underground world of drugs... where reality is crooks seek out drugs to profit themselves with criminal enterprises

Read the articles.. they speak of directly that any potential legalization will not stop this behavior.. I know this.. Ive known it for years

There are those things going on all over the nation, not to say they are connected-- but seedy people do bad things for money all over- Legalizing weed will take the money and pressure of the law enforcement to go after really dangeprus drugs-- the kinds that produce people eating zombies

The OP will never understand that every point he rials against is directly due to PROHIBITION and the Illegality of the Cannabis industry.

So to stay on point of this thread - End prohibition, put the growing in the hands of legitimate businesses and the large majority of this will go away. Unfortunately sexual abuse happens , and the only thing we can do is take measures to reduce it's frequency as much as we can. Bad people will always do bad things until someone like You, notmeofficer, comes along and takes them down, and puts an end to them.
So OP, maybe if you advocated for LEGAL grow operations and worked to move in that direction, instead of the extremist view of "total annihilation" of the cannabis plant, you may get some people here willing to talk with you. Do you have any info regarding sexual misconduct in the LEGAL grow operations in Colorado, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, DC?
Your psychotic extremist views prevent anyone from wanting to discourse with you, and so you get the responses you get. Maybe try changing your tactics? What could it hurt?

cognitive dissonance

The articles stand.. this is the face of pot ... it isnt going away.... if anything the growers will be under more pressure to produce.. we are already the worlds largest producer of marijuana

Aren't you..like me.. horrified at this behavior... dont you think every one of these crooks should be in prison?
Make anything illegal, no matter how innocent, and this sort of thing will happen. Never heard of public choice theory I take it? No doubt you're a product of that wonderful California public education system where they don't teach who Milton Friedman or Gary Becker were.

Legalization will end this problem. Of course by then you'll probably be on the warpath against vegans, illegals, Muslims, Satanists, or whoever...

I wonder if any of those OPD and Contra Costa Sheriffs officers dismissed as a result of sex trafficking scandals will wind up in the Redding PD....

It's no secret there are departments who will hire officers who've lost their jobs elsewhere due to scandals, crimes, or bad behavior. I guess what those OPD and CCSD officers were doing was OK because they weren't smoking weed.

I think we should use the Darwinian Method. Legalize All of these drugs. The survivors will have figured out which drugs to avoid.

Wow, surprise surprise.

There are bad people in every industry.

There are bad people who are doctors.
There are bad people who are parents.
There are bad people who are police officers.
There are bad people who grow apples.
There are bad people who grow cannabis.

Should we just go ahead and ban em all?
