He's a typical Catholic. All talking points no philosophical morality that you can apply to blacks, whites, Muslims, Catholics, liberals, Saudis, and Russians equally. According to the talking points--which you can train a parrot to do--Saudis giving death penalty to gays, banning women from driving, outlawing political parties is good, but Russian laws banning gay propaganda are bad. Catholics asking nuns to cover their heads, or lay women during Mass, is bad but Muslim women covering their heads and being segregated in Mosque is good. It makes the world stronger. Diversity is not to be tolerated if it is traditional Catholicism. Then diversity is evil and a threat that fails to unify a country.
