Still waiting for someone to tell me why a business should have to pay someone not to work, or why the tax payers should have to subsidize them.

HAH Childless people are the most discriminated against. There comes time when baby isnt a baby and an elder may need our care. yet we risk loosing jobs. I've read of especially women who had to give up jobs in support of elderly parents. I read of others only getting two weeks for a broken bone or other illness. Family leave shouldnt stop at birthing. ?

Exactly WhipperSnapper It seems some want their cake and eat it too.. THey want a job with all the perks, but don't want to work half the time.. I know caring for new borns is no picnic, but if you're gonna be having several kids, save money in advance, don't take the job, or work for yourself. P.S. Caring for elderly is no picnic either.

"""Oh, I don't know if he's a liberal, I don't know if he's a Liberal, I can't vote for him"""...

Yeah, well, we KNOW Hillary Clinton is a Liberal, don't we? Republicans complaining they can't vote for Trump because "they don't know if he's a Liberal" make NO SENSE... Yeah, we don't know just how Liberal Trump is, but we do know for a fact how Liberal Clinton is, and you're helping her if you don't vote for Trump.

So no paid vacation either, huh? No Severance packages either?
Heck no, not government mandated anyway.

The federal law applying to wage payments, the Fair Labor Standards Act, does not require vacation leave at all. While a number of states have laws that require employers to pay their employees any vacation time they have accrued, those laws do not require employers to give their employees any vacation time at all.
