If its not highly contagious why do the drug companies push a pneumonia vaccine?
The bug commonly resides in many peoples upper airways without usually causing infection. The vaccine will help prevent these endemic bugs from becoming pathogenic toward that individual. And less cases of this most common of pneumonias, means less sickness, fewer hospitalizations and deaths.
Viruses can be easily transmitted. Including Influenza. And stomach flu. But most viruses don't cause pneumonia.
Other possibilities that can look like viruses include allergies, mold and irritants like dust and chemicals affecting those exposed.
Ya, what ever caused Clintons bronchial infection, was evidently contagious. Thus, the bacterial stamp added to the Pneumonia stamp. Pneumonia isn't caught, it develops, from a bronchial infection not treated. What she has/had was contagious.... Chelsea knew it and kicked her to the curb quickly.
Nor I, and as an internist I've cared for these patients in and out of the hospital for 40 years.
You know what you'd call that if a patient came in and told you their experience. You'd say it was anecdotal. Not to mention you've surely built up some immune system over the years.
I would find it hard to believe any doctor would tell a patient who has been diagnosed with pneumonia that they are not contagious, with any certainty.

Nothing is absolute. But I can't think of an instance where 2 people in the same household had the same acute pneumonia. Viruses for sure and Influenza could happen. Also TB, but that is more typically a chronic disease.
I would warn them to stay away from immune-compromised people for awhile. Sure the patient might wear a mask for a few days, but I don't know if that does anything.
Wouldn't most people assume they are contagious and not want to expose children and others to their sickness? I would call this just common sense, possibly this is a lacking trait of the left.
Why would Hillary even take the chance going to Chelsea's apartment knowing a baby is there and could be exposed leading to the child being hospitalized. Sounds like everything is about Hillary and not about others around her.
Plus, why was she able to exit the apartment with no security around her?
Would she really put kids in danger? An security was there not always in plain view. They watch their homes even if they not home. Please!!
I'm not here denying the topic, demonizing anyone that posts on the topic in opposition and deflect when shown the error in your thinking... That would be you. You play it out over and over, it is easy to remember and see the guide playout time and time again, when you post
