Could you imagine if the Cowboy's and Redskins were no longer in the NFC East? I mean, this could seriously screw up divisional games!

Yeah, I would be for it........5 or 6 race-based/apartheid-based countries.

The countries can work together, cooperate....but be independent and separate.

The way it is going now, things will only degenerate.......this-group furious with that-group, never ending bad-blood and hatred.

Just need to put the Feds back in their place.
Stick to matters of national security and defense and leave the states alone.
You know, the original plan.

The only thing that could unite someone on the far right and someone on the far left, maybe, is a true alien invasion.

why is it that people want to balkanize the USA? breaking up the country, and then forming a bunch of loose confederations is not the answer. we do have problems in this country, but breaking up the country is not going to solve them, in fact it will magnify them.

it would be much better to go back to the federal government following the constitution, and letting the states solve their own problems.

In all seriousness, I think it's important to realize that the United States as we know it likely won't exist on New Year's Eve 2099.

Okay, maybe 2199.

The point is, 1) it's not going to last forever and 2) everyone in this thread will likely be dead before it (as we know it) ceases to exist.

I'd side with an alien over a leftist.

Touché. I'd probably want to hear them out before making a decision.

Why is the Fed in the states? Only 2 reasons. States are corrupt and money. What I mean by corrupt is unruly some governor wants to be king -and doesn't want to follow anyone! Even happens now... and some states just do not have adequate resources
