You think the FBI runs on some anecdotal, possibly apocryphal ideological Socialist/Communist joke from the 1920s or so? The FBI runs on their procedures, & their interrogators were horrified by what they found @ Abu Ghraib & other interrogation/rendition sites throughout the World during the military phase of TGWOT.

Is the captured suspect in NJ a murderer? If he's the right guy, he certainly tried. The FBI & local law enforcement will assemble the evidence to charge him, possibly as a terrorist - it depends on what the local DA & criminal justice system - with offers of assistance from DOJ, I'm sure - feel will stand up in court.

Terrorism is terrorism, I'm not more impressed by home-grown as opposed to foreign-born suspects - wherever they come from, I want them IDed, arrested, tried, & - if found guilty - punished to the maximum the law allows. We can sort out the finer points of who - if anyone - gets preferential treatment come the singularity, or Armageddon, or whatever cloture to human history you prefer.

In the meantime, we have cases to prosecute; police, civilians & a suspect to heal; & property damage to repair.

Probably too busy investigating anti- Muslim speech for Loretta Lynch.
Don't you think that's maybe why they were able to ID him so fast? He was already in the database.

*from Afghanistan

He doesn't deserve to be from NJ. He came here as a kid seeking asylum, he is not "from" here and no one welcomes him as a citizen when he planted multiple bombs here in two separate municipalities. As far as I'm concerned he's a radical foreigner. We all know he's had enough recent trips abroad, should have just stayed there and wreak havoc in the Middle East where havoc belongs and is inherent.

No ties to what? Other groups? Even if he was a lone wolf it doesn't mean he wasn't radicalized by and inspired by people from the sh*thole and dysfunctional countries he visited, countries that breed these terrorists with their extremist views.

People who knew him claim he was fine until he started going to the Middle East regularly. He was radicalized over there, no doubt about it. At the least it probably started his process of transforming into a radical Islamic terrorist. I'm sure he continued his work here but I have no doubt his frequent visits overseas changed him. It wouldn't be the first time you see a story like that.

I don't think you realize this but in order to arrest someone they need to violate the law, the Bundy "patriots" broke the law.

Travel to some of these countries is an area for improvement, he went on vacation to Afghanistan. It's hard to track or restrict but sure is a red flag.
