And the democrats, just like the cowardly captain of the Concordia, will seek to abandon ship ahead of the innocent victims of their dunderheaded scheme.

Well, things are going according the the plan.
The ACA was designed to fail; just a first step to single-payer.

It's a LOT "to little, too late".

Let's not forget that we were all Gruber'd - they deliberately LIED to the US Citizens about ObamaCare.
Not only that - the Leftists and TeamObama would NOT allow any "fixes", because it's so convoluted and tied together ..... there can be NO "fixes" without opening up the entire mess of ObamaCare.

The Truth of the matter is ..... It can't be "fixed", it has to be repealed and replaced with something that might have a chance of actually working. It won't be easy.

On the Up-Side - I really think that both sides of the aisle understand that we have a segment of the population that have ongoing issues that need to be moved into a system that will cover the people that have "pre-conditions" that have traditionally been excluded from Traditional Insurance.

Nobody should be denied Insurance because they have a pre-diagnosed condition like Diabetes, Arthritis or a Kidney ailment (just to mention a few) ..... a separate pool/insurance for those folks. They are a minority. There has to be a better way - the Majority doesn't have those conditions, so this is an area where the Government can step up and let the Majority go into a pool that works for them.

ACA is 6.5 years old. That's a lifetime in terms of healthcare.

The rest of the developed world with Universal Healthcare update it annually and periodically reform it. Healthcare trumps politics.

Over here, the intent of a majority in Congress is to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Not in the middle of a heated presidential election cycle it doesn't. Democrats deliberately sabotaged the American healthcare system and they need to be held accountable. Now they want the GOP to help and when the GOP says no Democrats will whine and scream through their buddies in the MSM that the whole mess is the Republicans fault.

The GOP better be ready.

I well remember the DINO Lady Senator who stated with a big ole Grin : Lets pass this bill and then we can read it later ... Grin... Grin ...!!! ... And I'll be dammed if they didn't pass Obalmy Care without even knowing what was in it ! ... Go Figure ! ... How utterly pitiful the political circus has become ... and how completely without shame! ... The American People Deserve So Much Better Than These Pitifully Inept Elected Representatives !!!!!!! Old Sgt. Lamar Says So !
