So $7 million later what's next, drag this out to November then release the report.

Loved the request to have them find "John from Iowa" who called into a talk show claiming to be a drone operator in Libya.

The Benghazi committee, which was set up in May 2014, has been operational for longer than the 9/11 Commission was. It has dragged on longer than congressional investigations into the attack on Pearl Harbor, the assassination of President Kennedy, Watergate, the Iran-contra scandal, the 1983 bombing that killed 241 American service members in Beirut and the response to Hurricane Katrina.

It's shameful that it was turned into a dog, and pony show, but at least it played a role in Hillary's email/server crimes becoming public.

If Hillary is indicted, it will be worth every penny spent on that crap show the Republicans called investigations.

Interesting. Because my take on it is "It's shameful that it was turned into a dog, and pony show, but at least it played a role in demonstrating that Clinton has the smarts, stamina, and backbone - and then some - to be an effective president."

What's shameful is Americans were killed and Hillary lied to the American people and their families.

Turned into? Kevin McCarthy accidentally let the truth out, on Fox no less:

Quote:
Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.
It was carried out for the purpose of sabotaging Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

First I don't see how it "cost" anything over and above the salaries which would have been paid either way.

Second, if you want to put a cost on investigations, I wonder what the "cost" was for the failed valerie plame case?

And Dems have still not shown one ounce of sympathy for any of the victims, be it Hillary or Obama.

The Valerie Plame case ended in actual convictions, as you may recall. But thanks for lining up the nice contrast between this administration and the previous one.

No, what's shameful is you keep repeating this lie even though republican led investigations on this has yielded zip result.
