Capitalism, folks.

If you can get away with it, why not? Profit maximization is the name of the game.

This makes me sick to my stomach, but alas, this is the standard not only here, but around the world (except for Iceland).

On another note, if there is not a truly free market, then we cannot rightfully claim that it is capitalism. We are experiencing corporatism and have so for a very, very long time.

Wells Fargo is a nightmare. I had a very bad experience with that bank in which it took my congressman's staff to save my assets from those theives. This bank is thuggish (really) and has a long rap sheet.
