I know that one of them is currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumor in the UK, and has expressed some dissatisfaction as to the level of care provided. I also have a neighbor who recently moved from Canada and has had trouble getting seen under 6 months before they moved for kidney stones and eventually had to get treatment here. Not that what they would post is by any means empirical data, but at least I have "live" information from someone who has been in the different systems.

More to follow...hopefully, they all chime in.
I did a simple google search and found this link. .have skimmed it but it tells you pretty much how it works there Healthcare in Australia - MedHunters

Well.. it's an example.. but doesn't have to be replicated exactly.. UK system is a good one as well. What we need to do is take the best parts of those systems and "tweak"it so that it works best for us...

Anything is better than what we have now!!

If it is good enough for celebrities - it is good enough for me

Besides, there is a difference between the word "need" and "WANT"

OBTW - most private health insurance covers it now. Seems someone made the point - if insurance would cover birth control - it should also cover the issue that relates to the need for birth control.

Think about it

Well it would seem that Viagara would LEAD to the need for Birth Control.. since without it some wouldn't have a chance at giving birth..LOL.. just kidding..

but seriously... I think they are somewhat two different things.. Birth Control is inexpenisve compared to the cost of having a baby and then taking care of said baby. Someone on birth control is taking preventative measures..

If you need viagara.. fine.. if you want it.. seems a little silly. Why would someone that could otherwise get a natural one want one induced medicinally.. yeah.. it's longer.. big woop.. really.. LOL..

Kind of silly... but anyway.. covered , not covered..it's not a life saving thing..

I don't think that we need any part of a system that forces 80% of physicians to participate in a scheme that negatively affects their performance and livelihood.
What we cannot overlook here is the principles involved in such a system. The COTUS does not provide for the intrusion of the federal government into the healthcare industry. Nor is the taking of resources from one taxpayer to give directly to another a function of a free society.
