The funny thing is that this "don't criticize anything and get out" attitude of yours is profoundly un-American.
If you ever read and understood the Constitution or any of the other literature about our nation's political foundation and social underpinnings, you'd understand that the ability to be critical of the government and of society is precisely what makes America...well, America and not some third world dictatorship where people are censored for saying controversial things.
No one should care if someone has a valid criticism done in the proper setting. America never really had racial identity politics until fairly recently, mostly post 1950's. Liberals can try but they're not going to rewrite history.
It's the 70s again. When rich kids had their chauffeurs drop them off at protests and Ivy Leaguers took over college buildings.
The tuition their parents paid to the Ivy could be used to send them and a poor student to a state university but the point was never to accomplish something - only to pose.
Overpaid, over privileged people like Kaepernick want ego gratification. Otherwise they could use their money to build something.

Your right black voting was so suppressed that it was an entirely white voting block. Cant rewrite Jim Crowe. But politics was highly ethnic, parties were very anti immigrant and catholic or pro immigrant and catholics for example.
Mike Ditka tells Colin Kaepernick where he can go.
Right on, Mike.
Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you, Colin. Of course that also goes for anyone else who agrees with Kaepernick, too.
Ditka is probably 20 years older than me but we kind of come from the same generation. Our parents fought WWII so we grew up in households where patriotism was not an option.
Our parents taught us what real evil was, the kind that they fought against to give us the wonderful freedom we have.
Some people were raised in houses where their parents taught them they were entitled to things in the world and if you don't like what you are getting speak up.

What did Trump ever develop to help middle class whites or blacks ? What affordable housing what job programs, what charitable foundations ?

Big difference.
Millions of liberals who support his right to protest also fought in WW2 or came from households that family members did as well.
So, do you believe Ditka should have no right to criticize him?
sure he does- and we inturn criticize his views as well -- does not make us UN American
