We did a weird thing that had to be done in the early 1940's, to prevent(not eliminate) this type of thing and keep Americans safe, when the Japanese declared war on us and we declared war on them.

I don't know if this shooter was as well traveled as Ahmad Rahami, last Saturday's Chelsea bombing artist. What I asked in that connection how virtually all travel arrangtements to Pakistan, Afghanistan and Syriaare paid for. The payment could offer some very interesting clues as to how terror is being funded.

No, it's a legitimate question. If you're to propose stopping all immigration, you do need to answer the question whether or not things like business travel are going to be included, as well as the question as to what if other countries shut down such travel in retaliation. Either you have a coherent policy, or you don't. Not all of us swallow the incredibly broad (and therefore nebulous) proposals from Donald Trump. We want policy details.

business travelers are currently vetted quite well, I'm guessing there are very few ISIS members who are also part time business execs.
Tourist visa's are also scrutinized quite well, and there are already some country's who are restricted.
There is a whole world of difference between a family in Sweden wanting to go to Disney land for a couple weeks and letting in 100,000 Syrians from a refugee camp who don't even have birth certificates.
Other countries have there own rules for business and tourist visa's, no need for ridiculous thoughts of retaliation.
There is no international or Constitutional right to come to the United States, the same as any other country on earth.
and as for getting our house in order how about we start with getting young black men into jobs like construction, plumbing, electrical, roofing, road construction, you know the kinda jobs young black and white men and women used to do before the South American invasion, The kinda jobs that allow people to start a family and maybe even there own business.
Lets work on getting our welfare programs under say 50 million people before we bring in millions more.
