The murderer is caught and seems to be a muslim extremist terrorist
His name is Arcan Cetin and his tWitter account shows he is supporting Hillary as he stated that she will win. The identity is unconfirmed but it shows his name and picture on twitter.
Official Washington State Patrol District 7 Public Information Officer for Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, and Island counties who twittered the following:
"Active shooter description: Hispanic male wearing grey. Last seen walking towards I5 from Cascade Mall burlington."
Anyone who shoots up a shopping mall and kills 5 people is an extremist. And if the guy is Muslim, that makes him a Muslim extremist. It doesn't matter if he was tied to some international terrorist group or not, his victims are still dead and the public is still terrified.
I am just saying it's more like revenge or domestic terrorism than having to do with religion. If it was Islamic extremism, he wouldn't likely drop his weapon and walk out instead of turning the gun on himself.
If killing five people is extremism (and I agree that it actually is), then we will have to broaden the term. The OP was making a point that this was similar to the Chelsea bombing or the Minnesota mall stabbing.

But because Trump loves Putin, there's no political connection made. Apparently this shooter's former girlfriend worked at this mall. Is there a point to this? I don't know but these posts explain why Fox News has such a cultish following.

You assume we even heard about it. I never did. Perhaps the wounded person (one who didn't die) told the police who did it immediately so it was just another boyfriend murder story.

The headline of this story is this guy's nationality. The last one was Russian. Why is this one special? Because it suits the right wing narrative? I think 20 year old's with guns and ex-girlfriends can be dangerous. But gun owners that don't lock up their guns are another issue.
