And, actually, I was wrong, the U.S. has had seven Presidents with at least one foreign-born parent.

Obama and five others had one foreign-born parent.

Andrew Jackson had both foreign-born parents.

But only Obama is constantly hounded about his citizenship. Hmm, why was he singled out, for eight years now??

No, you made that up. You linked to the Drudge Report, not the Telegraph.

Actually yes, because it has absolutely nothing to do with what we're talking about.

Trump isn't allowed to be a racist because some campaign staffer eight years ago sent a racist photo. That is complete non-logic.

You don't get to excuse Trump's horrible birther claims because there are other idiots and morons in the world. Complete faulty logic.

If some campaign worker for Clinton or Gary Johnson or Jill Stein kills someone today, it doesn't give Trump a right to kill people. It's a completely idiotic point.

Surely you have seen the caricatures of Obama in native outfits back in 2008, they wanted him to be from Kenya, even after the birth certificate was produced they just couldn't help themselves.

Like I asked before, it Obama was white and the birther issue came up, would it still be considered racist?

It is a simple yes or no question.

You're right, I'm not clicking on a link to an alt-right hate website.

And obviously the Clinton campaign would never respond to such an accusation. Why would they legitimize such nonsense? Normal Presidential campaigns, whether Dem or Rep, don't respond to wacky claims from fringe hate websites.

Your post goes to show people will believe anything.

What you don't get there is still many people who find this whole thing questionable, but.....

It is a simple yes or no question.
It's a stupid question, because A. Obama isn't white, B. Trump's supporters aren't racist against whites; they hate blacks, and C. No President in history except for Obama has been black, and no President in history received such wacky accusations.

But yes, IF Obama were white and IF a bunch of KKK wackos were claiming he were foreign-born, then I suppose the motivation wouldn't be racism, but just general hatred of foreigners. You could probably call it nativist idiocy instead of racist idiocy.

The issue at the time was whether Obama was born in the United States or not. Where's the "racism" in that?

Ted Cruz was also confronted with whether he was eligible to run for POTUS due to him being born in Canada. Was that also racist?
She was speaking to her base on that one.

There was another birth certificate issued by the State of Hawaii to another African American born on Aug.7th, 1961, the race was entered as "Negro". The term African American wasn't really coined until the late 70's. So, yes, all this does is fuel the debate. However, it's all water under the bridge and it will die out like all the rest of them.
Well, this is the main point with the birther issue, nothing racist about it. Obama never produced a birth certificate that was consistent with one issued by the hospital in Hawaii in the year of his birth. Add to that, the state of Hawaii is very politically corrupt, and very pro Obama in political ideology, they would phony one up for him at the snap of his fingers. It would be very easy for him to fake a birth certificate from Hawaii. Maybe he lost his original BC, or maybe he was not born in the US. I still think there is reasonable doubt, even if it is water under the bridge.

Obama is not white - he's mulatto - half white - half black. Trump supporters aren't racist - you only profile the whole lot of them as such.

Are you the same Bloomfield1 from Nairaland - the Nigerian social network? Maybe that explains your preconceptions.
