Obama has a policy where we let Afghans rape boys on military bases because it's their culture. Given that dems are throwing a fit over the p-word, this was quite surprising to read.

Quote:
“At night we can hear them screaming, but we’re not allowed to do anything about it,” the Marine’s father, Gregory Buckley Sr., recalled his son telling him before he was shot to death at the base in 2012. He urged his son to tell his superiors. “My son said that his officers told him to look the other way because it’s their culture.”

Sounds like Obama and Hillarity Clinton share much in common. They are both enablers of rapists.

According to the high ranking military source within the OP's link " , allegations of child sexual abuse by Afghan military and police is a matter of Afghan criminal law" .

The US is there to fight the Taliban, nothing more or less.

That some Afghan military leaders show up with " Afghan tea boys" is beyond the scope of the US engagement.

So you agree that soldiers should have their careers ruined if they report rape?

Is that you, Hillary?

You have to love the hypocrisy. People are so bamboozled into believing the American government (and by extension its military) is a global force for good and should be worshipped accordingly, yet we see time and time again how it commits its own barbaric acts and makes excuses for the very evil it purports to be fighting.

The US has been in Afghanistan since 2001 to fight the Taliban. The US has maintained a policy of non- intervention as it relates to Afghan criminal law, all along.

At peak, there were about 100,000 US troops in Afghanistan. Presently, there are about 8500 left. The population of Afghanistan is about 33 million.

No I do not agree that soldiers should have their careers ruined when they report rape.

I would prefer the US pull out. That will be up to the next POTUS.

I had heard of this before and it is a horrible tradition in their culture.
I wonder if the boy doesn't struggle or fight enough if they deem him to be gay and when they are done they throw him off a roof?

This acceptable child rape is yet another example of how our culture where we do everything to protect children is like black and white to the muslim culture.

Bacha Bazi is an ancient practice throughout Central Asia and substantially predate Christianity and Islam. It's a violation of Sharia Law. Nonetheless, it persists especially in rural areas.

Young boys are sold to wealthy men by their fathers. Some are street orphans. Some dancing boys achieve celebrity status.

The Martland Act, Mandating America's Responsibility to limit Abuse and Negligence was introduced on 3/2016. The purpose was to delegate authority to the US military to limit abuses that occur on US Military bases.

It has been referred to committee on Military Personnel.
