In this country, white poverty is spatially diffuse, while black poverty is spatially highly concentrated. On the ground, this works out to the average young poor white person living among mostly non-poor peers, while the average young poor black person lives among mostly poor peers. Considering the peer pressure issues common among young people, I suspect peer pressure is a major element in crime, and it does appear evident in modern TV crime shows like The First 48.
OK... the theory here is that large numbers of poor young people living together in densely populated areas will have the highest crime rates and the most violence. So... how about Dhaka? It's the most densely populated large city in the world, with 8.5 million people living in a space about 12 miles by 9 miles. It's way more dense, poor, and young, than any American city. So the homicide rate there should be astronomical, right? But...
A good solution is to drain the swamp in the areas with high crime. The courts approved that government can take private property and sell it to companies to make it nice once again. So just buy up the high crime areas, tear it down, sell it off, make it nice again. Scatter the failed residents across the nation like we scatter refugees now.
There is a very narrow demographic which drives crime rates:
Young, male, NOT married, NOT employed, NOT in school = testosterone driven, with a heavy dose of peer pressure, and way too much idle time on their hands. It's not little old ladies and it's not middle-aged married men in suits.
Ok. Well maybe we should elect a president that will secure our borders and deport the 11 to 20 million illegals that are here so that these young men can get the jobs the illegals have stolen.
