I often hear people say "Hillary will destroy America!" One of the ways she will supposedly do this is by abolishing the Second Amendment. Could someone explain in detail how exactly she would go about doing that?

1. very high taxes on guns
2. high taxes, regs on ammo
3. banning certain types of weapons
4. harsh environmental regulations for shooting facilities

No one can explain how Hillary would abolish the 2nd amendment.
Those making that claim are just repeating childish talking points they've been given to come here and post.

Its so simple what will happen. The handwriting is on the wall.
1. She will appoint at least 2 to 3 supreme court justices and they will overturn Heller.
2. All semi automatic rifles will be made illegal.
3. She through executive action will raise taxes on FFL dealers. Your $400 gun will cost 1k.
4. She will make gun manufacturers civilly liable for their use. Lawsuits will end all gun manufacturing in the U.S.
5. They will tax the ammo to death. Your $20 box of ammo will cost over$100.
6. Impose a high tax on any firearm sale. Just like buying cigarettes in NYC. Tax it to death and the average American can not afford it.
7. Limit mag capacity to no more than 10 rounds. This includes semi auto pistols. Law abiding citizens will be now considered criminals.
8. Require any homeowner to have gun liability insurance.
So no she cant eliminate the 2nd amendment. However there are tons of ways that Hillary can destroy your rights to have a firearm. Personally I have stocked up on my ammo and high capacity magazines. As a gun owner we have to prep for the inevitable. The fact is criminals will never care what gun laws are out there because they don't care about laws. The rich will always have enough money to buy firearms. The average American will be have their rights removed.
She is not going to 'destroy the 2nd amendment'. If she nominates judges that ultimately make it more difficult to buy the most dangerous/lethal guns, I would view that as a step in the right direction.

Right, but executive orders can only go so far. Repealing an amendment to the constitution via executive order is something that would probably never happen.

Except for the simple fact that congress and the senate judiciary need to approve any Supreme Court appointment, even if the republicans are not in power any recommendation would need their support.
Punitive taxes can be challenged in court.
She can't make gun manufacturers liable, that is up to congress as was the case that exempted them back in 2005.
Indeed, and now if a criminal breaks into your own home and tries to kill you, if you protect yourself with that "now" illegal firearm you will go to prison. Pathetic. HRC is more then happy to do this to our country.
See, why do you spout nonsense like this? You could make a case against Hillary or against gun control using reason and facts. But Tea Party types always seem to resort to making crazy stuff up to make their point.
No one will ever go to prison for defending themselves from some one trying to kill them. Today we see a proliferation of "stand your ground" laws that make it legal to use deadly force even when you are not threatened with bodily harm. Personally, I find these laws troubling, but no one would ever dispute your right to defend your life, regardless of what weapon you used.
