The last person executed in Kansas was in 1965, I doubt we will see any more any time soon. The death penalty has been very controversial here, many people are against it and it has gone back and forth between being legal and illegal.

It sucks that people make racial assumptions before anything is known. Obviously the police didn't give a description to the public because they had a credible lead, otherwise the guys wouldn't have been caught so quickly. Glad to see those guys off the streets, if they are guilty I hope they throw the book at them.
