Why would you hope for economic punishment for all Americans? The elites and politicians won't feel it. It will be the working class again.
Regardless of who's in, I hope for something resembling progress for the entire nation and getting things actually accomplished instead of eight years of partisanship and bickering with nothing positive for the American people coming out of it.
Hope is nice, reality is that bubbles come and go regardless of who is in office, they are often the result of action and policy from previous administrations. These things don't happen over night, but its best to have them come quickly so you can work your way through them.
I'd hate to see anything bad happen to the nation under any president.
If things fall apart with Russia, China or the Middle East, it'll be interesting if she tries to blame the problems on the previous administration after she spent so many years as Secretary of State. If the economy tanks, it'll be hard to pin the blame on George W. Bush after 8 years of a Democratic president, but I'm sure she'd try.
One good thing, nobody will believe her when she tries to blame the problems on Bush!

Sadly they will try to figure out a way to pin it on "right wing conspiracy theories" or "obstructionism" because it could never be their own failed policies at work.
I can hear an old co-worker (Obama supporter) in my head right now....
"I like Obama! My 401k looks great! Duuuurr... national debt? What's national debt? We're not paying more in taxes for his policies are we? Duuuurr..."
If Hillary does win, I hope the bubbles burst on her watch (stock market and other).
About time that Dem / socialist policies actually get a lot of the blame for the state of the markets, national debt etc.
This has been the only happy thought I have had about the idea of her winning recently.
Again, why do poor Americans hate themselves. You would rather see the economy collapse and you and your family's fortunes go down than see us succeed. Weird!
