Seriously, i don't even have cable since i'm an internet guy but i do from time to time tune into a CNN/Fox live feed over on Youtube to see what these clowns are up to/see the brainwashing for myself. And the "topics" that seem to saturate these various American MSM channels 24/7?:

1) all things anti-Trump, from every possible angle imagineable
2) raayyycism stories/BLM
3) anti-gun stories and brief 24/7 coverage of shootings when they happen (before returning to anti-Trump coverage once the story dies down, of course )
4) sensationalism or celebrity gossip type stories

The American "mainstream" media is a joke, you literally have to go online and do some Googling around to get some ACTUAL news about what's going on in the world. Anyone else feel the same way?

How these various outlets such as CNN are still taken "seriously" by the general American public in 2016 is insane Makes no sense at all, you would think that with the proliferation of smartphones and the internet these people would look into some (free) alernatives, but nope

UK outlets are usually pretty good.

They have a European socialist perspective, but they will at least state the relevant facts.

US corporate owned media sources are propaganda outlets, pure and simple.

The ultimate aim of all this cyber-saber rattling is to give government full regulatory control over the Internet.

When that happens, we'll be plunged back into darkness.

Trump is perhaps our last hope.

Traditional Media is an extension of the Democrat Party. They are brainwashing the weak minded easy to manipulate which includes most Millenials.

The only network that is balanced and report on real news of import is Fox.

I agree. I get all my news online now from mainly nom-us sites. American news is nothing but propaganda.

Because we practice corporatism instead of promoting and endorsing a free market.

Almost all media companies in the United States are owned by a select few, with the same interests. It's been that way for the past forty years.

When i hear one of these sheeple mention CNN when i'm out and about i just think to myself

Depending on the week, it seems anti-Trump stories LITERALLY take up 85-95% of the air time. They don't even try to "pretend" to be objective or non-biased

Seems random strangers on the internet are "the new journalism", because the "official" journalists are bought off and can't be trusted. It's to the point you'll get more truth from actual/real-life people with a smartphone and "boots on the ground" than you will from the Clinton News Network.

You have it exactly backwards. The kind of stories you mention dominate because news shows are ratings-driven, and they are giving the American public exactly what it wants.

Edited to add - what you are looking for you will not find on TV.

This sums up the news in America pretty well.
