We talked for quite a while and got along really well. There was a lull in the coversation and we both just sort of looked at each other and smiled. I had no overt invitation from her but I knew if I was going to act, that was the time to do it, so I put my hand on her thigh. Her smile got bigger, she bit her bottom lip a little and we both leaned in and kissed each other. I don't have to tell you where it went from there.
My question is, if I had misread her signals and she had pushed my hand away when I placed it on her her thigh, would I have been guilty of sexual assault? What if she had gotten so angry that she stormed out of the room or slapped me in the face? Would I now be unfit to run for the presidency?

I like slapping better. I know a friend who slapped a guy who tried to kiss her when they went out. She's Indian and the guy is too but I guess its considered disrespectful in Indian culture.
