-We still have soldiers in harm's way in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
-We have bombed twice as many Muslim countries as we did under the Bush years.
-We have sent special forces into twice as many countries as under the Bush years.
-We have grown the drone program dramatically killing far more innocent civilians than under the Bush years.
-We have engaged in more Trickle Down economics than under Reagan. Quantitative Easing is a variation of Trickle Down and it did not start until Obama won and met with Bernanke, then Obama made every Fed pick, big or small a QE supporter, showing his support for Trickle Down.
-Obama's QE has pushed up the stock market.
-QE has pushed the annual national deficit down, it is projected to start rising back up to $1 Trillion a year within the next few years even if interest rates remain at historic lows.
-Obama promised no special access for big donors, but big donors were literally told how much they needed to donate to get special access. Big donors got ambassador positions to countries that they couldn't answer simple questions to.
-There were about 32 Million people on food stamps on Bush's last day in office, there are about 45 million people on food stamps today.
-There are millions of more people in poverty today than on Obama's first day.
-The wealth gap has grown dramatically the past 7 years.
-Obama's administration approved a gun running program that has led to 300+ Mexicans getting shot and a few Americans, he then lied and said it was Bush's program.
-The labor force participation rate for 25 to 54 year olds is lower today than on his first day in office.
-We have more non-war zone military bases today than we did on his first day.
Yeah-all the disastrous policies/wars from the previous administration were kept in place and grown.
Just shows that our Presidents are yes-men to the real powers. Head to the next Bilderberg meeting to find out what the next Pre-Approved President will do lol.

I'm not a fan of Obama, but some of these things are some combination of necessary even if undesirable, and or not his responsibility.
For example, if we pull out of and walk away from the middle east, we have no influence in a hugely important region that's in complete turmoil. And if we don't fight our wars somewhere else, they'll get fought here. History has proved that to be a REALLY bad idea.
As far as monetary policy. All the Fed's machinations staved off what would otherwise have been a much worse economic dislocation. Again, it wasn't desirable to have to do it, but the other choices would have been worse. And, of course, while the president pics the Fed board, he doesn't directly control them.
As far as money in politics, that's completely baked into the system. He didn't start it, he isn't going to finish it. I don't see it getting less pervasive any time soon, and I don't really see any realistic mechanism to reverse it.
astructure, the nation would have been set until 2040
Total Debt when Obama entered office: 10,632,005,246,736.97
Total Debt Today:19,720,830,822,303.49
For 5 trillion dollars the infrastructure of America could have been up to date until 2040.
If Obama would have spent 1/2 of the debt run-up on updated the nation's infrastructure that he has on his other pet programs then the nation would have been set.
Considering where we started from in 2008, I am not overly impressed or dissatisfied. You have Trump and the GOP still pushing supply side policies when the opposite is needed.
