We are on the brink of war with Russia, NK wants to kill us too, etc. Etc. So you think it's the intent of an angry GOD to destroy the world and the US once and for all?

Yes and no.
It was already foretold Russia would be converted back to Christianity. I lived during the the existence of the Soviet Empire and lived to see it fall. After its fall Russia was sooooooooooooo incredibly atheist that the Catholic Church was sending missionaries to convert the people to Catholicism. That caused conflict between the Vatican and the Russian Orthodox Church.
I'm amazed at the speed in that short time Russia has converted back to Christianity. Namely Russian Orthodoxy. They are more Christian than America which was never eaten alive by government pushed atheism. Grasp the sociological significance of that. Of that change. It is analogous to the social change, social revolution of the LGBTQ celebrations, of gay marriage in the USA. So, what I'm saying is if someone told me in 1984 that Russia would be as Christian as they are today I would not have believed them. It would have been like telling me in 1980 that I was going to see gay marriage widely accepted, cheered for, and actually performed in the USA in a few decades. Knowing the prejudice people still had for homosexuals back then I would not have believed them.
So, this conversion, after a divinely inspired revelation (supposedly) about Russia is no small thing to me.
The other foretelling said that Russia and the US will go to war and that Russia will strike the US first. Russia will defeat the European nations and march over their countries, the Vatican is supposed to have the Russian flag flown over it. The Pope will be persecuted in some form (whether by Russians or Catholics or simply driven into abject poverty and abscurity).
But I suppose it is only coincidental that Russia has converted to Christianity, elected twice a practicing Christian who is a defender of the Orthodox faith to the point the Russian Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church has called Putin a gift sent by God himself, and that the evil trolls of the West are trying to antagonize Russia into nuclear war, convinced like spoiled brat children they are that not in a trillion years would Russia ever strike the US first with nukes.
The warning signs that God was reducing His time for the chances given to the West before He lets Russia lose to crush them all, is guess what, another coincidental collection of things: hurricanes, earth quakes, and natural disasters were to increase around the earth.

We don't need god to destroy the world, humans are doing a damn good job doing it.
No, I'm literally freaking out. I don't want God to allow us to go into nuclear war no matter what. My worst nightmare. At least other people have got to have experience, good friends and sex on this Earth. I got nothing. I stand by my idea that God somehow hates me. I had at least one episode lately, my thoughts were racing and I had shallow breathing.
Always amazed at how many right wingers scream at Obama for being a socialist dictator of sorts. Yet, many in this same crowd stick to this silly childhood fantasy of an almighty God...like a celestial dictator. Constant surveillance. Sounds like living in North Korea to me. No thanks. Glad it is all fiction.
God can't stand haters -- asked us to pray for leaders. Not call them names. So if God brings wrath will simply be payback.. Or reaping of our nasty ways

This story has been around as of 1974 that I know of. I remember asking my mom if the world was ending, because people at school were talking about it. I don't think God is doing any of this, but man does seem to be hellbent on destroying the earth for some religious reason. All we can do is live life and always be prepared for a disaster. I think we will feel the wrath of Hillary, before the wrath of God.

If the people do not consider what they do , they will destroy this earth. God can intervene if he wants too , but God usually does not. God has given man his own free will. He did not make us robots. We can destroy ourselves with our own free will and the choices we make.
Christians can also pray for God to intervene. We know the struggles of good vs. evil. In time God said man will destroy himself , we have that power today to kill all mankind . We as a nation have become evil. We have become immoral , seeking pleasure more than God. We have let drugs, sex , every evil come upon us. We have made this nation evil. God has removed the blessings off this land because of spiritual wickedness in high places.
God knows from beginning to the end of days. He has created us , but we have gone from him and worship and follow satan with our own free will.
