That's exactly what democrats want. After that they'll move to just eliminating the 2nd amendment altogether. They're only sometimes in favor of due process, when trying to free terrorists for example, but not for law abiding citizens with different political views.
Everything he stated is not only within the bounds of the Constitution, it is the duty of the people to act accordingly if such rights are infringed.
He isn't talking about various gun laws, he is talking about gun confiscation.
Are you saying that if the Federal government decided to just violate the 2nd amendment that the people should just roll over and allow them? What if they did the same for the first?
This is why people need to educate themselves concerning the Constitution. What he states is a duty of all those who have sworn to protect the Constitution.
What should happen is that if the Federal government were to violate such, the states would refuse to follow such a violation, the Military would be sworn to defend against such a violation the people would be duty bound to ignore this illegal law by the rules of proper defensive elevation of force.
This would result in the Federal government being the aggressor.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to make laws determining who should be allowed to own guns.
