Amy thanked the 8,400 who stayed - so not exactly 10,000 but close enough
( you can go google the news stories, check the arena size if you really want)
The Amelie arena holds 17500 in a concert set up, it was sold out, every story described it as packed I was giving it the benefit of the doubt to 10k, but OK 2.3% left.
I don't think she's funny at all, but what I do think is funny are people crying about comedians talking politics which is what comedians have been doing since comedy was around. Now all of a sudden it's off limits when it's your God Trump. Never mind all the years Clinton got laughed at for being a womanizer on SNL and everywhere else that was all good. But now nooooooo Politics and Comedy don't mix.
Its not off limits, what's off limits is when she stops the show to preach hate speech. Trump fans have a pretty good sense of humor, so if she was saying funny things and keeping it light, nobody would have had a problem witih it, but when you get in the gutter and start being serious and unfunny, people have a problem with it, especially when they paid to have a good time and laugh. Once you stop laughing, the show is over at that point.
She's not funny in the first place. Who would PAY to see her?
I don't find her funny either. She comes off as excessively crass and vulgar. What ever happened to comedians that used intelligence and wit to tell jokes?
She's an unfunny "comedian" who is related to United States senator Chuck Shumer. You may have heard of him...he belongs to the Dem party. What a shock that Amy says the stupid things that she says. From proudly wearing her "apolitical" badge to acting like she knows what she's talking about regarding politics...noooooo, no one groomed her at all.
The only thing this tells me is that 200 people were dumb enough to shell out cash for a comedian that they had no idea if they would like or not. It is not like they couldn't have found out what kind of comedian she was with a 2 minute google search before buying the tickets.
