The President Submits His Budget to congress & then signs or vetoes it depending on if he agrees with their changes to His budget.

i would point out a few things on your chart. note that job creation during the clinton years started AFTER republicans took over congress, and that severe job losses happened after bush was elected but before his policies took real effect, a result of the dotcom bubbles bursting right before the 2000 election throwing hte country into recession.

and in 2008 the housing bubble burst AFTER democrats took over congress, and while democrat prevented bush from reigning fannie mae and freddie mac.

Do the liberals here understand that the President is not the King and he either signs or does not sign the budget the House and Senate finalize? The ignorance and stupidity of the leftists is appalling.

Who said the President has final say on the budget? But he does get to submit his wishlist!

ROFLMAO! You don't really believe that do you? "the rich" give more to Democrats, you don't think they do that because the dems are out to get "the rich" do you? Not even a liberal can be that naive.

Yeah, I believe the national-debt has been only going-up, since the founding of the nation.

Clinton's was the last budget that didn't run a deficit. He left a big surplus which Bush immediately "gave back" with a massive tax break in 2001.

Can you please tell me when the debt was paid off?

Having a surplus and paying off the debt (which is what you claim) are two entirely different things.

Are you as outraged that Obama doubled the debt adding more than $10T in just 8 years - which is more than all previous President combined - all 43 of them over 235 years.

I'd bet no... in fact, I'll bet you blame Republicans for that as well.

Trump did not submit this Budget Bill, in fact the House cut out his Wall funding. We will sign it if he wants to get anything he wants done. That said, this budget does exactly what Repubs whined about for eight years, increase our debt Billions more, so much for conservative spending practices.
