We went from stars and stripes forever to identity group politics forever.

Whites bicker over class and libertarianism vs socialism that's true, but are not tribal. Most of the non-European world is tribal and that's what we opened America up to post 1970.

What this would be is freedom of association, and it is selectively allowed. People of color are allowed freedom of association while white people are denied it.
This is indeed racism. These people look at whites and don't see them as equals, they see them as some other kind of person, with unacceptable traits, based solely on skin color.

Definition of racism

  1. 1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
  2. 2 a : a doctrine or political program based on the assumption of racism and designed to execute its principles b : a political or social system founded on racism
  3. 3 :racial prejudice or discrimination

They clearly see a person's race or white skin color the basis to make broad sweeping assumptions with which to prejudge the person as unworthy to attend student functions.

The government way back in the 1700s created this system. The government created races. If the government had never created races way back in the 1700s, we wouldn't be having this conversation today. so again, blame the government.

Oh whatever, time and mother nature created races. If you didn't have a government you'd still have tribes and tribal leaders. It was the original private sector globalist that brought the races together for cheap labor in the 1500 and 1600s.

The war on drugs, welfare, and affirmative action made things a lot worse. All created by the government.

It's just BS because white people can't openly do that without it being labeled racist.

It's the whole double standard thing.
It's really not, though. All throughout history, White people segregated themselves from other races, and even now, there is a mindset that White = better because of that. Naturally, some minority groups today want a space for themselves that they never could have had in the past. There is...literally...nothing wrong with that. At all. Not even a little bit. Do you guys get mad at groups for women? Or groups for gays? Sheesh. This couldn't be less of an issue, but for some reason, people here think that pro-Black = Anti-White, and that's...not the case and never was the case. This particular group just wants to have members who all share things in common. What's so bad about that??? Despite what the AllLivesMatter folk want to believe, Black people, White people, Asian people, Latinos, men, women, gays, heterosexuals, etc all have different experiences coming up in this country, and there is nothing wrong if some of those people want to come together. My God, let people live in their truth and stop crying.

No, it's a human mentality. It has nothing to do with the government. Some groups put their ethnicity/race above the laws of their country and think they are superior to others. Government didn't create race human nature did.

It becomes a problem though when they don't think of anyone else but themselves and their own special group and think our politicians should pander to them specifically.
