Retirement is a socialist wealth confiscation and transfer scheme.

They are when the government runs out of money.

It'll just print more. Who cares if inflation disproportionally affects the poor and those on fixed incomes?

An Article 5 convention can stop it, but how many people even know what that is or even care?

We can't act surprised, we allowed this to happen, we continue to allow it. For the love of sanity, our own government colluded with a presidential candidate and we did NOTHING!

We are cowards, we deserve the bed we made for ourselves.

Then government will have to 'gross up' the poor to compensate.

How many people listen to or read Mark Levin?

My first job at .75 cents per hour was in 1955. Things were pretty bleak back then and I assumed I would work till I died. I am now 79 and fairly comfortable. I think the folks in the examples cited had the same opportunity I had. Sometimes you make your on luck.

In coming years if Hillary and her cartel gets in and passes amnesty don't rely on Social Security or welfare. It will go down the tubes and be cut drastically . Hillary said privately she will cut both. The burden will be too big to not cut it. Too many poor being brought here from other poor countries to take benefits. 64 k to relocate just one muslim refugee in America.

Anchor babies will be having more anchor babies soon. Millions of them get public assistance and get more than American citizens. It is draining us.

20 trillion dollars in debt. Wait till the interest rates move up. It will bankrupt us just on our national debt. This whole scenario is destroying us. It could be a planned event. I can't understand why they are spending so much money bringing in more people who are sucking us dry. The jobs are leaving . It looks very bad , very bad.

For some low-income workers, retirement is only a dream - Sun Sentinel

$_hit, for us middle class people it is going to be tough. If our health care costs keep going up it is only going to get tougher. Even if we do everything perfectly I know for a fact we won't have as nice of a retirement as our parents do. And they did it on one income, and one job their whole lives.

I'm shocked by delusional nonsense posted here.
For an older person to change career and go up, getting a professional job?

Really....what planet are living on? Must have not left your house for a while.

Every employer that's hiring right now wants non-entry level hire, and they want them young.
If it's an internship or entry level position: must be young. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Really pathetic to hear someone telling older low income workers to "change careers" to high paying one.
