Is it true they are taking Trumps name off of apartment buildings b/c people who live there petitioned it be done, or are they taking his name down b/c he sold the building and the media is going to town with lies again?

well, unfortunately I don't trust the Media any longer, I watched how they lied during the Bush administration, and also during this campaign and I'm done believing them.

I heard them report another lie this morning, and then heard a different story on the radio....
The media has become a very powerful brainwashing tool.
Trump doesn't need to promote his brand any more. Being President has more prestige than a hotel name. I suspect many of his properties will be renamed to avoid a conflict of interest.

Lies. The buildings were not owned by him anymore but still had his name on it.

Logical solution is to get off your duff then and do your own research as the information is on the Internet.
Again was born, raised and live in NYC, *and* clearly remember when those buildings went up.
Trump was not the landlord but developer (guy who builds things), and as part of the contractual agreement the complex was to carry his name for a certain period of years. Said contract expired and even before the election residents of "Trump Place" started a petition for name change. Since the actual street address is Riverside Blvd, there is much gossip here in the City residents think that sounds more upscale than "Trump".
in any case its safer- anything with trump now is easy target for terrorists- etc- but is it a little symbolic for things to come ? not saying anything else- just asking
