No matter how you look at it the founding of America reads more like the legal finagling by high priced lawyers whose goal was to rip the native people to no end.

Christie's approval ratings are currently in the gutter. I still can't believe anyone thought he could be presidential material. He may very well face prosecution yet for his alleged role in Bridgegate. I never liked the guy one bit. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely that he will resign. If he did, he wouldn't be able to keep taxpayers on the hook for the ever-increasing cost of his legal defense services.

Solar isn't that efficient yet and is expensive. Not to mention a silicon mine is a toxic waste as well.
That is what I am saying let the market choose. There is much better energy sources than oil, coal, wind, hydro, and solar out there.

Still all for giving the land back to the Tribe and respect the Treaty. Stop Corporations from being greedy and destroying land.

Ridiculous.
It isn't ridiculous. It's why the founders made sure to put the second amendment in there. If you refuse to exercise your rights, we see how the government will trample over you.

UN calls out US for stealing "vast territories" from Native Americans
The Indians were not the only ones to suffer under the banks and industrialists. The latter owned and still does Ow the government. If some moneyed individual or conglomerate coveted lands occupied by anyone, they could get the army to push them off. The Indians took the most serious beating, since it was declared war, but a lot of farmers, setlers, small time miners etc were burned out and/or shot in their sleep too. And let's not forget the Chinese. Treated worse than draft animals.

The injustices done in the name of Manifest Destiny weren't limited to the Indians. Now, in terms of government subsidy, the reservations have it pretty good. When a tribal member turns 18, they get a nice check, they can buy a house on the rez, brand spanking new, for next to nothing, buy a brand new car, get a free ride on higher education, free medical care, etc. The leg up tribal members get on turning 18 could take them far, if utilized right. However, it often gets squandered.

The money gets blown on a new car, that ends up on blocks in front of the new house, which has fallen into a decrepit state. The party ends when the money runs out, usually within six months to a year, tops. The free medical goes to treat addiction to booze and drugs, usually meth, and a shot at education beyond HS is just dismissed out of hand. Seen it happen far to many times. To people I considered friends.

These radical "heritage" groups are getting bigger now. Herebouts these are nothing but a front for manufacture and distribution of meth, often in alliance with outfits like the Mexican Mafia. Yes, they are all over the rez. It's a safe zone. DEA and such can't touch them, unless invited in by the tribe. Which doesn't happen that often. The rez SE of me here is huge, and it's a mess. A real dead end place. The big one due North is the same way. There's another one way North, on the OR border, that's a seriously dangerous place. It's more than remote, straight out of some movie, and if your not an Indian you DON'T go out there. Unless you have a deathwish. Not all reservations have big casinos and throw open the gates to tourists. Quite often a reservation is a different world. And not a friendly one.

So we are clear.....this isn't just private property which means everyone should be involved with whether or not it's done.

I posted a link to the court order on the previous page. Everyone who would be effected was involved and contacted numerous times. You should probably read what the judge said.

Protesting the actions of the government is a well established civil right, but the argument was this was private property. Why the attempt to be dishonest about what is going on?

They moved their camp over the weekend onto private property and have trespassed onto private property numerous times. They have a set camp which they are completely allowed to protest on. They're not allowed to trample on farm land or kill and steal livestock from local ranchers. That's not ok, and I've linked news stories covering this.

I'm curious as to who is being dishonest in your view?

LOL, kill and steal livestock. We will recall that it was the government that stole and killed Bundy's animals.

There is nowhere you won't go to defend an out of control authoritarian government is there? They are bringing in military equipment to face off against unarmed protesters. I hope they even things up a bit and do get armed but right now, that is what is happening.
