dollars of profit are all that a business should be concerned about. That is why they exist! That is why they all exist. Generations of managers have been trained to minimize costs and maximize sales. Denying any and all dangers is part of their acceptable measures to maximize profits.

Publicizing these dangers is the task of the consumer protection part of the government. It failed to properly investigate this situation and fine the company, reducing profits to negative, for endangering the public.

Why does a baby need powder or scented products anyway? Babies have such sensitive skin.

exactly, its because these companies have been kidding us for years that we need their products on a babys skin when theres no need for them at all, but like myself many years ago I fell for this crap advertising and thought I was doing well as a young mum and buying only the best for my baby. J&J even gave out Bounty Packs in maternity hospitals as gifts years ago.

Desitin was what we used most, that stuff is awesome, it's mostly zinc oxide.

And you have to admit a baby smells awesome after a bath and you put on J&J baby lotion.

A lot more to it though than a smell , check out whats in the lotion , look it up ,one after the other. and check out anything that ends in paraben, they should be shut down for this. I didnt realize there was even more junk in the lotion http://www.livestrong.com/article/21...s-baby-lotion/

How about some unrefined coconut oil or some aloe vera gel fresh from the leaf. That smells pretty good too, soothing and no chemicals.

Please think about what your putting on a baby. especially this fine powder... J & J Ordered to Pay $70 Million For Cancer-Linked Talc Powder The company in question stated they dont have asbestos in their talc.. but isnt it also to do with breathing in the fine powder into the lungs thats a danger too. The company removed asbestos in the 1970s.. makes you think doesnt it..
Back in the 1970s in my college geology classes, we learned early on that talc and asbestos OFTEN are found together in nature. That's why as an adult I rarely used talc. This is not new knowledge, but it may have been ignored knowledge.
